All I see on here is elitist "legit" whiners complaining about casual whiners. Who freaking cares. AoS isn't going to turn a casual into a pvp god coming for your fake crown. Most will probably use it in PVE anyways, and unless someone hacks the game for it, all AoS will be gotten legit. I say enjoy to all, fire team up and have fun.
EDIT: I never would’ve guessed that this would get this many upvotes b/c of all the other posts that weren’t happy with it. Thanks to everyone, good to see some people can still have fun.

I got AoS "legit" and I can say that I am glad they are changing it. It was a really annoying quest and having most of it consist of PvP one of the stupidest things. And most of the other exotic quests are PvP oriented as well.

I definitely got it "legit". The grind was OK. Still a bit too easy. But then make it too hard and Bungie only ends up sharing their work with a few people, and they probably want a lot of people to experience the gun. Now the redrix grind...much better..

I dont understand why ppl even care about the change of the quest for AoS. I mean for all i care Bungie can give the gun for free. I have done the quest the "hard" way and man i felt the achievement after i got the gun. And that is what matters to me. I cant care less if everyone and his dog has the gun now as that wont take away the journey that i had to experience for myself.

Nobody really cares. It has no importance whatsoever in the real world, in the game is irrelevant how you get it, and the developers, at the end, do whatever they want. They have “The Last Word”; see what I did there!

I dont really care tbh. I did it "legit" but whatever. Enjoy it when you get it, and use Crimson for the Crucible headshots! Its like a short range pulse - very forgiving.

3 отв.Haven't completed the quest, regrettably can't play the game right now. But if I heard right, and the change is allowing adds to contribute to the bar...I'm not happy with the change. I like my quests to have some difficulty. Not just being tedious, I'd agree that kills on invasions should count, but kills on adds?

1 ответIf you played gambit, you might have noticed alot of players were going in just to get the 5 kills and not really helping. They would stay back, wait for the invader and try to get the kill. If u had more than 1 person doing it, it affected the outcome of the matches. Some players were messaging others on the other team to let them get the kill if they invaded. Alot of players were trying to find ways to "cheese" the mission. Bungie should have never made gambit part of the mission or should have made it so invading and invader kills counted. I dont use handcannons myself, its another exotic I wont use but will get it to add to my collection of exotics.

2 отв.Totally agree, I will never understand why people care so much. Everyone should be able to get the gun, but now the complaints are going to go from the 5 invader kills to the 25 pvp headshots.

It's a quest exotic which means it is going to be obtained by everyone who wants it eventually. Who cares that they changed it to make it slightly easier.

Agreed. Who cares? There’s casual players and hardcore players. You can’t please everyone and you have to give everyone a fair chance at most stuff. People need to chill and just enjoy the game for what it is to them.

As far as "earning it the hard way" I know for a fact that players are getting help. I personally helped a friend who was having a hard time getting his last 2 invader kills. I would purposely agro the invader, jumping around and launching my Fighting Lion grenades at him. My buddy came up behind him and finished him off with his crimson. So... the hard way made easy?
