Whisper of the Worm
Edit: Solved for now, we'll see how I do after I catch up on the evident lack of sleep 😂😴
Okay, so. I'm having a bit of difficulty starting this whole Whisper of the Worm thing off.
It's a Friday and I've tried several times over the past few hours to find any of the Taken bosses in the three areas of the Lost Oasis on Io, while a Taken Blight public event is active . I have yet to find one. Anyone have an idea where I'm going wrong?
Hoping it's not due to Io not being the Flashpoint.

1 ответ10am PDT is the global reset time. If you did not know this, then do not feel offended by the following information. Open an internet browser and navigate to a search engine. Type the following : 10am pdt to <insert your time zone here> The result will show you the time in your timezone that the reset takes place.

Okay, after some much needed sleep, I figured out where I went wrong. I thought reset would automatically happen at 12am Friday, because, you know, new day. And I knew it reset at 3am AEST, so thought that must just be 12am wherever the game is worked (I now realise that would be in Asia). I just thought those still on Thursday would get it 'early', like I would get it 'late'. I knew that it would not be Friday yet in America, but for 12am PDT, it's 5pm AEST. So that didn't match up. Didn't think it'd reset in the middle of the day, thought it was just auto it at 12am, hence why I figured Friday here would work. Dunno if that crude explanation helped figure out where my brain disappeared to, but I'm just glad to know exactly when the game resets.

1 ответI know that you’ve already had the situation cleared up pretty well, but just some main rules to go by: -Daily/Weekly resets are always at 6pm (That’s UK time, but it happens at the same moment across the world regardless of time zone). -Daily resets restock things such as bounties at vendors. -The Tuesday (Again, this is Tuesday in UK time) reset brings along vendor inventory changes such as Eververse, as well as the reset of your milestones and the beginning of any events like Iron Banner or Faction Rally. -The Friday (UK time) reset brings you Trials, Xur, and most importantly: Whisper. Whisper will appear no matter the flashpoint, the only requirement is that you kill the enemy you likely already know about when a Taken blight event appears. Each weak there is a different element. I’m not 100% sure about when the event for Whisper goes away as I always manage to complete what I need to before that happens, but I believe it is on the daily reset on Monday (UK), unlike Xur’s disappearance and the end of Trials, which I believe are both on Tuesday (UK).
