The account your friend is posting from : https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/17863881/RazielMS
Was made 104 days ago. Which means the original Bungie account is past the 90 days.
I’m sorry but it cannot be recovered now.

The bungie account linked to the xbox gamertag was made a month before. It will be 90 days on the 11 of July 2018!
-
How many Bungie accounts do you have? Exactly which one is it you’re trying to recover and which one was made from the original unlinking?
-
We've been trying to recover it ever since. And so far we have three accounts. The original one, in the link above, that we are trying to recover. https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/GameHistory/254/8015943/Raziel It never showed up in the account recovery process. We made a third one to check if the recovery process only shows one account at a time or all the possible accounts. It shows us only two. The original one doesn't show at all!
-
Sorry for the confusion that the "many" accounts has caused. The account we're trying to recover is this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/GameHistory/254/8015943/Raziel

And which account was made from the orphaning? The Bungie account with your Xbox account or your Bungie account with your PlayStation account?
-
The problem happened when my friend signed in to bungie with his new Xbox account thus creating a new profile! He tried to unlink it, and the only way to do it is to link it through another account (merging both accounts). So instead of merging the Xbox to the original (with the PSN account) he did the inverse. Orphaning his original account. And since then it doesn't show in the recovery process!
-
The one with the XBox account. (The one I'm posting this post from).
-
The one you are posting form was made 104 days ago on March 14th and is past the 90 days if that is the account that originally orphaned your original Bungie account. Your Bungie account that your PlayStation account is attached to was made 69 days ago on April 18th.

Изменено (Raziel): 6/27/2018 1:28:30 PMThe Bungie account I created with my XBox account was 104 days ago. The "orphaning" of my main account (The one I'm trying to recover) happened almost a month later. That is to say that the creation date of my account and the date when I made the mistake of orphaning my main account (The one I'm trying to recover) are two different dates.

Изменено (Eriena): 6/27/2018 1:32:16 PMOkay this is possibly where you’ve been confusing. You need to figure out exactly which account is your original. If it is your Microsoft account that you originally used to create a Bungie account then that is what I’m trying to find out. Bungie accounts cannot have nothing attached to them, so if the Bungie account that is 104 days old isn’t when you orphaned your account I need to know what else was linked to that Bungie account. In order to recover your main Bungie account if it is within the 90 days, you need your original log in methods that you used to create this account: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/8015943/Raziel on October 10th 2014.

Изменено (Raziel): 6/27/2018 1:35:35 PMWhat was linked to my now-orphaned account is my PSN account (Raziel_MS). I'm %100 positive that Raziel_MS (My PSN name) is the first account that I've ever used to create my Bungie account on October 10th 2014. I have validated that by also checking my own E-mail inbox which had an E-mail from Bungie on that same day.

My friend has had a bungie.net account for three years (https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/8015943/Raziel) this account only had his PSN profile linked to it. After buying an Xbox, he signed into bungie.net with his new gamertag, thus creating a new bungie.net account (104 days old now). He tried to merge both accounts together, but instead of merging the 3year old account with the new one. He mistakenly linked the 3 year old account (tied to PSN at the time) to the Xbox account. Since the merger, we cannot recover the three year old account. It seems that because it was a merging of two accounts. The orphaned one cannot be recovered!

Nothing can be done.

He did not merge them both right away! He did about a month after. And we tried to recover it then and there but the three year old account wouldn't show up. I strongly believe that since the account was orphaned due to a merger, it never showed up for recovery! I don't know if anyone can confirm this. The 90 days period expires on the 11th of July.

Okay so let’s ignore the Bungie account with the Microsoft account. So if your PlayStation one was the one that you originally used that is the log in details you need to use to recover your Bungie account. But first you will need to make a dummy Microsoft or Blizzard account and attach it to the Bungie account your PlayStation account is on. Then you need to log in via that new account and unlink your PlayStation account and then recover your original Bungie account with the freed up PlayStation details.

This is what the recovery process shows https://imgur.com/a/66hM7pV

That's exactly what I've done (As also mentioned in the recovery steps on the Bungie website), but I only get the option to recover one of two accounts: 1- The one I'm posting from 2- This one: https://www.bungie.net/en/Profile/254/17949120/Raziel_MS Both of which have nothing to do with the account I'm trying to recover.

Bungie cannot force the account recovery. They can look on your accounts and see the dates created etc. But they cannot do this for you. If the account you want isn’t showing then this either means that you are not using the original log in details or you are past the 90 days. Unfortunately I can’t help with either of those as there’s no information on your original account and I am not clear on exactly which account was made from your original orphaning. You’re telling me Playstation, your friend is saying Microsoft but at the same time you’re both saying neither of your Bungie accounts that you can log in to were made from the orphaning. So I’m getting confused as to exactly what you have and when it was made in regards to the orphaned account. You can keep posting and I suggest only you posting as having your friends reply makes it more confusing and seeing in a few hours when the Bungie studios is awake and at work if they can tell you when everything was made. But as I said they can’t fix this for you, only you can do that if you are within the 90 days.

I suspect a bug in the recovery process due to the fact that a merger was the cause of the orphaning. He is only trying to help me. I hope when the Bungie studio opens, someone will be kind enough to look into solving this problem of mine. I came across some other user with the same exact problem as mine. Here it is: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/230216048
