Items can now be dismantled from the Postmaster and the Vault
Sorry for the all caps, but if what is written in the Patch Notes is correct we can finally delete from the Vault/PostMaster.
It only took 3.5 years, but they finally did it. Let those who remain on this game rejoice!!!!

Step in the Right Direction. now what would be great is if we could A) Dismantle the Mod on the weapon (if its a blue) for gunsmith materials B) Take the Mod off of the weapon before we dismantle it. a 321 Kaka weapon with a Kinetic mod? - yeah fk the weapon i just want the mod
-
Now if only I could delete 100s of shaders all at once...
-
I deleted myself 😱, luckily I was backed up to the cloud; I was soon back up and running and reconstituted into existence again.😊
-
Warning: you can also delete from the upgrade screen. I deleted a stack of legendary Void mods last night trying to apply them to a gun. Lesson learned, but its annoying with have some things in the menus we press X (Square?) for such as "combine stems" or whatever, and others get deleted. A tad confusing when you are tired and slightly inebriated.
-
next on this type of list. Delete shaders in stacks
-
and yet, we're STILL gonna have posts about how "bungie never listens!"

Game of the Year

Изменено (BC1 Edge): 5/10/2018 7:27:45 AMFinally, now can we have an option when deleting shaders “how many do you want to delete at once?” And “automatically delete all gear at this light level” Also now that this has changed what is end game now?
-
This'd be great if my postmaster wasn't filled exclusively with ever increasing stacks of shaders. You know how dismantling shaders goes...
-
But can you delete Destiny 2?
-
I think I had melted down 8 undesirable shaders from the postmaster before I realized that It was really happening.
-
It does really help.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSS FINALLY THIS HAS NEEDED TO BE IN THE GAME SINCE D1
-
There were several little, "background", changes on this update like the addition of the pursuits section in the inventory that removes quests from weapon slots that should have been here since day 1 but are nice to have anyway.
-
Don't be so sarcastic. I think it's a great addition and I'm glad it's finally here.
-
You can delete from the postmaster but you cant delete your shaders in bulk still.
-
I’m loving the 100 extra slots too and not just 50. That was nice.
-
Cool! Less time to dismantle nearly everything that drops means that everyone can spend the next few months more quickly building up weapon parts etc. for the September DLC.
-
It took them 3.5 years to give us the popcorn option on the microwave so what are you talking about
-
WOOO HOOOO
-
Omg thank god
-
I did not notice that. Thanks for the post.
-
This and competitive ranks are the best parts of the dlc for me. Would pay $20 for those alone tbh
-
Yes and I used it last night for sure. A wonderful change.
-
I remember reading that. I was in the vault a few hours ago and was deleting the heck out of some shaders. When I exited the character screen and was still in the vault... I thought something was wrong. Happy and surprised at the same time. Nice to have a short memory as you get a little older. :P

If those additional shaders had somehow created an exploit for players to take advantage of, it would have been fixed in 24 hours.
