I think it's become undeniable at this point to say that in the first game it was much harder to earn exotics, they were offered from fewer activities and had lower drop rates in regards to those activities, this along with the isocronal emgrams has created an environment where it is very easy to get every exotic and a guarantee that over time progress will be made. Due to this along with the patchs to reduce the frequency of duplicate exotics dropping and adding exotic mods and other such things I believe extra functionalities should be added to xur to make him feel special and mysterious again, I believe these could be done in the form of... 1. Selling exotic ornaments for the weapon and armors he has stocked. 2. Selling drives that upgrade 150 speed sparrows to 160 speed sparrows. 3. Selling exotic mods. 4. Upgrading exotics into the new masterwork variants. 5. Selling masterwork cores. 6. Having different spawn locations on each planet. I believe if any or all of these changes were implimented he would be just a bit more interesting, what do you guys think?
