seriously.
Mental stability is the real issue and the use of smartphones and social media has been strongly linked to the deterioration of teenage mental stability. these devices and web pages are designed in a way to trigger dopamine and get you hooked on them, also they are attached to your self esteem. Teenagers who use them frequently have been shown to have increased problems with anxiety, depression, self esteem issues, pride, arrogance, and a host of other problems.
We should rather address the problem of the deteriorating mental state of our youth.
i personally avoid social media and smartphones. i will only get an iphone when my job demands access to internet at most places
focus on the real issue

You do realize that each generation so far has tried to blame gun violence and shootings on some form of media? My generation it was video games the generation before it was movies and before that it was certain types of music believed to contain hidden messages in the lyrics that caused kids to act violently. The issue has, and always will be mental stability, nothing else. We should require those that are to own weapons from here on out to have a mental evaluation, extremely thorough background checks, slightly longer waiting periods, and to go through a lengthy gun safety course.
