I downloaded the game again and j gotta say, it felt amazing. Most of it was locked because I didn't get rise of iron, but when I dropped back in the cosmadrone I felt like a god. The speed on my warlock was absolutely amazing, my exotics felt powerful and my weapons actually felt special. I'd almost forgotten the feel of using a fusion rifle and machine gun. To have so much ammo for your special just felt right. I'll finish my swords while I wait for D2 to get better. I don't know when that'll happen, but for now, I'll finish any loose ends I had in the game.

I've gone back to D1 recently and was reminded what being legend feels like and how much better D1 is than D2. There are either alot of new players or original players who started over. Getting invites to help new players never gets old and there is still alot for me to do and collect. PvP is still a shotgun/sniper festival but it's still leagues above D2 crucible. The lower TTK makes crucible feel way more fulfilling as you don't have to team shot as in D2 to get consistent kills. Long live D1 you may have been abandoned by Bungie but you will never be abandoned by true guardians.

D1 is better at this point in time. I don’t like that Bungie have essentially left it to rot. There is potential to have D1 live events that interact with D2. For example a D1 event that unlocks exclusive gear on your D2 account and vice versa. Why not take advantage of the massive pool of content to enhance the overall destiny experience?

Get ride of iron. Better use of the money than any DLC for this game that’s for damn sure

Изменено (Kiyoshi-Prime): 2/20/2018 4:00:57 PMI still really enjoy D1, I have both games but lost complete interest in D2 a month before CoO dropped, and didn't bother purchasing. Even then I could tell just how far Bungie had fallen with their new addition. I love the D1 weapons, armour, and pretty much all the missions and strikes...not to mention the raids are still a blast and still get a rise completing them! Anyone saying "oh you're just seeing the D1 through rose tinted glasses" is completely mistaken...if this was the case guardians wouldn't continue playing or return to the original game...the bottom line is, it's simply better in almost every way!

I jumped on for a bit yesterday and the difference is amazing. It feels crisper and like you stated my guardian actually felt powerful.

Have fun. While you play, remember, the Cabal will take all the good out of that game and Bungie will leave you with Destiny 2.
