Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from Disney Castle, with residential captain of the guard; Goofy!
Goofy: “Gawrsh, Aifos, that sure was nice of ya to invite me on yer show. How’d you even invite me, anyway? Aren’t you from a different world?”
That’s not important, right now! What is important is the topic at hand!
Death! It’s not nice! As a matter of fact, it’s quite unpleasant, and frankly, very annoying! Luckily, making it less annoying, is the handy dandy respawn feature most games have! Or.. Maybe that actually makes it more annoying, because when you respawn, what else would you do but charge head first into danger again, hoping to conquer whatever killed you! ..Only to die again..
This inevitable cycle of death and rebirth is already annoying by itself, but even more annoying when the thing that kills you is annoying in it of itself, or if it killed you by really annoying means. And when this happens repeatedly because you didn’t change your strategy, or the baddie is just really strong, it gets even more annoying. This can lead to rage quits, simply giving up, or simply continuing to die, over and over!
Whatever the specific reasoning, let’s talk about these very annoying deaths!
Tl;dr? Here’s my point!
Most annoying ways you’ve died?
My answer:
I was fighting a boss in Kingdom Hearts 2, that was very, very hard. I found a nifty item that let me enter a “Beserk” mode when my MP depleted, and it turned everything around! I was still dying, but getting much farther than before!
One time, I got him to really low health, and thought I was finally going to kill him!
But he wouldn’t die, even at a sliver.
It was then I realized that bosses can only lose their last point of health by a combo finisher, which you can’t do in beserk mode because you get an infinitely chaining combo. ._.
Breath of the Wild: climbing a Sheikah Tower, aiming a bomb arrow through a gap on one of the platforms. Turns out, those gaps are purely cosmetic, you can’t fire through them...

Still falling off ledges strafing and aiming trying to get the drop and there we go got the drop...right off the edge.

http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/I%20AM%20TH3%20CREAM/video/42550852 My buddy recorded this. I was driving. I heard the motorcycle coming and purposely drove that way hoping a collision would occur. I didn’t anticipate the aftermath.

Fall damage, from a two foot jump.

Single Player it's definitely things that shouldn't kill me but do... like traffic cones in Halo or me somehow Sleeper Simulanting myself in Destiny... sometimes it can be funny but if I am going for a perfect score or something then I just get flat out annoyed. Another one is spells or any AoE attacks that look like the animation is finished but when you step forward into where it was it somehow still hits you and kills you. Multiplayer... is definitely spawn killing. But sometimes with a crappy map design, I somehow spawn kill others too so it goes both ways and yeah.

Thinking: “I can definitely make that” Has killed me in many many games

The ever haunting stunlock in many games. Just watching your HP bar slowly tick to zero and knowing you can't do anything but watch is just agony

In smite, i always get targeted cause i play assassins who are squishies and dont have much health. Usually if someone is playing the same god as me, they target me. So it gets kinda annoying.

Изменено (Bopsheezi): 2/23/2018 2:47:15 AMI was playing through Final Fantasy 3 today, and I was running low on health. So I decided to take my white mage off of offence and put them on healing duty. Turns out using the wrong spell was enough to cause a full party wipe and game over. I meant to cast Curaga on my whole party, almost a full heal on everyone at my level. Instead, I cast Areoga instead, which is, in the case you don't know, is a damage dealing spell. It's safe to say I was very, very done, because of my mistake.
