One of destiny 2 pvp worst ideas of worst ideas is having to fight over power ammo .Every time it happens to me im more pxxxxd off with my teammate than i am with the opponents in fact at this time i want to switch teams and kill that theiving sob. It creates friction when ur supposed to work together to win. Mostly i just quit the game and give a big fu to my team witch isnt a good team if they are constantly pushing u off power. if u are wondering why people are quiting games all the time this would be one of the main reasons bungie u need to fix this. all it does is create salt in the dwinderling pvp community.

Worst idea ever

Изменено (ELRaSun): 2/19/2018 11:28:21 PMI still don’t understand why they just don’t have players on the same team or fireteam run through each other. Not only it would avoid the shoulder charging but other forms of trolling, griefing, or stuff like blocking doorways or being pushed off the map, etc, as well. Of course, then there’s still the problem of people camping the heavy spawn rather than running with the team. Maybe the new changes (kills cause heavy to drop from enemies) will help.... a little bit. Maybe.

The worst is when one of the Crucible challenges is to kill X amount of players with heavy. You really need to camp that spot to have any hope, and that completely detracts from the fun of the game.
-
Stop holding down the button before the ammo actually appears. There is a delay when you try early. You can collect it much faster if you wait for the sound it makes when it appears.
-
Turn it around. Here's my personal set of etiquette rules - All things being equal in a relatively 'normal' match, you get there first it's yours and I'll cover you. I see you camping every drop for 20-45secs, I push you off every time. I see you fire 2-4 Colony shots at one opponent, I push you off every time. I see you fire Colony shots at any opponent on open ground, I push you off every time. All things being equal in a relatively 'normal' match, I have heavy get there 1st, will let you take it and cover you = theoretical team benefit. I get sent late into a diabolical MM algorithm calculated loss rescue mission, your team down by 15, we might bump shoulders a bit, depending. Johnny come lately wanting to fight over it with enemies bearing down and/or push me off, I make the rest of the match miserable getting in your face, tbagging, and pushing you into enemy fire or blocking escape.

With no heavy machine guns in the game, power ammo isn't as big a deal for me as it was in D1. I like to hide by the dispenser with my bullet hose, then make Swiss cheese of the enemy Guardian who shoes up to claim it.

Annoying.... Trying to get heavy amo in PVP is annoying lame BS... I game to have fun, not to fight with people to get amo... Not fun and Bungievision sucks...

The idea of protecting Heavy/Power ammo seems lost on a lot of people who play Destiny 2. If I am near the Power ammo drop and there is less than 30 seconds on the timer, I will usually keep it within eyesight and try to fight off the opposing team from getting it. It's always a little sad when teammates will watch you fight for the Power ammo and let you get killed so they can come in and plink off the guy who killed you who is hovering at 1/4 health just to get the Power ammo for themselves rather than help you fight for it from the beginning all so they can get the ammo. It's ridiculous. Destiny 2: "We want Crucible to be more fun for casuals, but we are going to create the game around playing as a well-coordinated team, thus giving fireteams a distinct advantage. Also, we are going to add ammo that only one member of the team can get so that well-coordinated teams will have a person designated to get power ammo while randoms will fight their own team tooth and nail to get it for themselves. Including, but not limited to: watching their own teammates die, sliding own team out of the way, or Seismic striking their own teammates who have been waiting at Power ammo for 5 seconds after killing an enemy making a play for it." Yeah, this game sounds like it's super fun. Basically, more and more people are just ignoring Power ammo altogether since it isn't worth having to duke it out with your own team of dipshits for a couple rockets.

Yeah they said they will have a fix for this but it is tiresome as it actually Slows the game down as people go off to camp power
-
Creates genuine hostility, I also don't understand how if I commit a full arsenal of fire power on my opponent they just carry on and collect the ammo but wen I try to get it I'm blocked by a small breeze on a different game on a different console
-
I miss heavy spawing in two locations on the map - and the ensuing free-for all with 12 people trying like heck to get the enemies off it - or ensure that you and as many of your team mates got some. The current "only one person gets it " is just part and parcel to the dumbing down of D2.
-
Get rid of it altogether will fix this.
-
It didnt matter if I was solo queue or in a team. Someone always hogs the power ammo.
-
It's just one of the many thousands of brilliant ideas that went into making Destiny 2 a reeling success.
-
This was arguably the worse change (well tied with movement nerf). As soon as I played the beta I told my friends it was a ridiculous idea and so poorly thought out.
-
I always wonder if there’s a white board with worst ideas in destiny 2 and that persons name is next to that brilliant idea. The worst idea ranking board. It would be quite a large list I could imagine.
-
I hate that as well. If somebody is waiting near the power ammo you should rather defend him than pushing him off.
-
Can I interest you in a primary?😃
One of destiny 2 pvp worst ideas of worst ideas is having to fight over power ammo
I agree that this can really suck. I try to follow a simple cutesy rule. If I come up to a power ammo box and it's about to become active and no one is there, I'll consider it mine. If one of my team is already waiting for it, I consider it his. I'll even provide cover fire for him to have time to collect it. I wave at them to let them know I have their back. I've had others catch on and do the same for me. I prefer to be a team player than a selfish a*shole. If I find someone being a selfish a*shole, I'll let them do their own thing. They usually die soon after getting the power ammo anyway, cause they're shit, and they don't work with their team. Is a pack of power ammo really worth the aggravation of fighting over it? It's a team game, and you should be fighting the other team, not your own.
-
The thing is, they want it as much as you do, and what makes you think YOU are the only one that deserves it? I find mostly the opposite though. If I get heavy, and do well with it, most of the time my team mates will go out of their way to let me take it again. I do the same. If somebody does well with power ammo, let them have it. The part that bothers me, is when you get charged off of it, and the person that takes it, dies without ever using it.
-
they should just remove the power ammo timers and set spawn locations and have it appear randomly on the map, and shows on your HUD when you're close to it.
-
Get matched up with me and I'll do my best to protect you if you want to camp on heavy. You can have the ammo. Can't promise another team member isn't going to knock you out of the way though.
-
Dude shut your piehole! Just play a Titan! I shoulder bash people off the power ammo like, all the time!
-
Lol, your next forum post: So sick of dying to hail of rockets and sneaky quickfang hunters 😢

Playing solo pvp in D2 is just frustrating. Finding a team isnt worth the effort. So I very rarely play it at all.
