You lost me at "You say D2 is oversimplified as if it's a bad thing. Some people want that." I don't recall casuals nor hardcore players asking for a beta at $60+. Many of the significant problems stem from not separating PvE and PvP gear balances. Bungie's assumption (or in the case of Jon W. "we feel") that players want the same playing field/experiences across both PvE and PvP is one of several critical elements destroying D2.

Some things that you think are bad, don't matter to me...and many others. Move on to a different game. This one is made for the group of people I represent.

But isn't this argument flawed since the overall population of destiny 2 and trials is down so low. So more people didn't want these changes and only a small percentage did. And the game population is across both games too. not the Trials but that is also at a record time low.
