Destiny 2 needs to return to the glory of Destiny 1.
"What!? How can you say that!?" I know some of you are probably thinking, or saying that out loud.
But think about the things that needed to be tweaked in D1, versus the massive amount of things that need to be fixed in D2.
I am of the opinion that random weapons rolls echoes back to the namesake of Destiny itself.
I remember spending hours running the same kind of strikes, or raids over and over again trying to get that perfectly rolled Grasp of Malok or Vision Of Confluence, meeting new people along the way and generally having a fun time doing it. Granted, sometimes you wouldn't get what you wanted, you'd get something different and new, but you found things that worked that you didn't even expect or think of! It almost felt like it was DESTINY when you got your perfectly rounded weapon, or when you got the one that worked for you. I think Destiny 2 is missing those magic moments. Sharing in peoples excitement in your fire team as they got exactly what they wanted. It gave you reasons to continually play.
I don't normally chime in on these kinds of subjects, but I felt so compelled when I saw this #BringBackRandomRolls subject that I was compelled to do so.
Thank you for your efforts.
P.S. Machine guns were fun...bring back those as well.

Once you complete quick campaign and level up your guardian there is no reason to stick around and wait for the fixes. Fixes are already in D1 so go an play D1, well I am anyway.
