I honestly think that if we are going to try and bring back the grind of D1 and the fun of god roll weapons, we NEED random rolls. I miss the feeling of finding new, better weapons and dismantling my previous weapon which I though was "soooo good!". Finding those new weapons with better stats or better perks was part of what made the grind feel rewarding. But now, I haven't changed my weapons for nearly 3 months now. It's the same 3-4 weapons for pve and for pve. Because what's the reason to use anything else really? It's pretty boring seeing everyone rock the same weapons. Oh and I think that each perk slot should take about the same amount of time it takes to make your own masterwork.
