Last night, one of my PSN friends messaged me and the one other guy in our three-man guild if we'd like to run the Nightfall. At first, I was kind of apprehensive. With all of the negativity surrounding the game right now, and LoZ Breath of the Wild eating up my time, I was thinking of passing. However, the other guy said he was interested, so I thought, "Eh, why not?", and logged on. For the next two or three hours, my buds and I had a blast! We did the Nightfall without breaking a sweat. We went to Io to help one of them grind out one of their Dawning schematics. We swung by Mercury to do a Heroic Adventure and a public event. I was even able to finish a prophecy I was working on and got an okay scout rifle for it (scouts aren't my favorite, but it looked cool, so there's that). It was the most fun I'd had on the game in a while. Before we got started, we caught up with each other and talked briefly about the negativity going on right now towards the game, and we all agreed. While some of the criticism is justified, some of it has been blown way out of proportion. The main two issues I had with D2 were the lack of customization with ability loadouts and the complete removal of 6v6 from Crucible. Eververse was never even in my radar until this whole #RemoveEververse trend began. However, in spite of those issues, I still have fun playing the game. I'd still like those issues to be addressed, but in the end, it's just a game. As long as I have fun playing, that's all that really matters. Thank you for a fun game, Bungie. While I plan to continue enjoying Destiny 2, I hope that you can take all of the current criticism and turn it into something productive. (But for real, though. If you bring 6v6 back in some form or fashion in the Crucible, that would be the bee's knees.)
