I don't like the way this is worded it is very unclear. So using Three of Coins gains 50% to the base CHANCE.
So this leads me to believe you all are throttling reward chances as well. There is no way 50% increase in the probability of getting an exotic yields no exotic in 4 hours from activities. Even if the base percentage on every activity is 1% that is 51% chance meaning you should get about 1 exotics every 2 activities.
So my question to you DmgControl04 is what are the base percentages of getting an exotic for any and all activities and do they change from activity to activity, by this i mean if i run two heroic strikes does my base "chance" to get rewarded an exotic go up or down. We have already seen bungie isn't fond of us grinding 1 activity to get loot (hence why you guys secretly throttled exp gains) So why shouldn't we believe if you do that with exp why you wouldn't do that with exotic drops?

Someone skipped a math class or two...
-
Cute. Another troll with nothing to add. Just another kid trying to insult me because Iwanted him to say 0.5 instead of 50%. I love how you trolls skip the important part of the question where I ask the base percentage drop rate and if they lock it out or throttle us after consecutive completions. No wonder everyone says this community is so toxic.

Nice edit once u actually read my post. Rofl.

Изменено (Cinders-Shadow): 12/19/2017 9:40:58 PMThat wasnt the edit. Sigh. It was pointing out why i disagreed with your comment to my original comment, but i stopped seeing as you cant just realize your own mistake, and just be like "oops what i meant was..." as it was a simple mathematical mistake. An easy solve. But. Instead, you stood by the incorrect statement insulting those who pointed it out. Edit* All while stating others arent posting anything helpful, yet your post helps no one and adds nothing that has not been said, repeated, or beaten into the ground

Not really. I posted those questions for me. I wanted to know the base rates and if they are throttling us. I think everyone needs to know that. The first thing i said in my op was i don't like how its worded because 50% look a lot more than what the actual boost is. I just wanted clarification.
-
A 50% increase to a 1% drop rate would result in a 1.5% drop rate. Math: .5(.01)=.005 .005+.01=.015X100=1.5%
-
Can you show me the equation where Bungie proves they aren't hiding exotic drop throttling or a lockout timer like they did with exp and Cayde treasure chests?
-
you are not realy good at maths
-
God forbid I ask for clarification and then watch all the children flock to the % part of the question instead of focus on the real question instead of if what the base percentages of activities are and if they throttle the base percentages with consecutive completions.
-
Problem is you didnt ask for a clarification on math. Also bungie didnt throttle all xp gains. They throttled xp gains from short activities and actually boosted xp gains from long activities. So again... You are... huh... misinformed?
-
They throttled exp from consecutive activities. Data mined and proved. Do you only believe the Bungie weekly update?
-
Lets just stop here. I dont want to insult you with claiming you are not good at reading comprehension either. Bye.
-
I guess you think Bungie never lies to us. Bye.
-
I guess if they would have lied about it the same person on reddit would have called them out on it.

Изменено (T1m_is_Here): 12/19/2017 12:47:17 AMI think its the fact that they wouldn't of ever said anything about the throttle until they got caught and then tried to act like they were removing it because it wasn't "doing what they wanted" instead of because they got caught a lie. Then turned around and double the exp needed to level to entice more players to buy silver because its twice as hard to grind then it was before. Then with the expansion they added about half the new items to the loot box system. If they spent as much time trying to make the game worth playing as they do trying to get us to buy bright engrams these posts wouldn't exist.
-
Cool so exotics you cannot buy via loot boxes so whats your problem? Also most of people I know havent spent a dime on Eververse.
-
So they added how many new exotics? Thats cool. Most of them however are old exotics from D1 slightly re-skinned and perks nerfed or changed. They still spent more time on Loot box items than they did anything else with the expansion. You never bought anything from Eververse? The funny thing about that is you are here defending Bungie and they hate players like you for not falling for their loot box scam.
-
They still got my money. Doubt they hate me. lol.
DmgControl04
I think his name is just a pun to make fun of us especially looking at the Twitter name A_dmg04 attack damage .04 % just sayin
Spot on.
hah 👍 other than that I do agree with you. 50% increase my ass . even with a base of .04% that's 50.04 you should still see am exotic every couple uses at the very least, and from what I've read some people do but most don't. so... either a selective throttle, random (or perhaps directly picked because bungie asshats) players get a bonus where others don't. or perhaps a rng on the chance of getting that 50% rng on rng with a side of rng for your rng
-
If if three of coins are working right and they only grant .5x to the base drop chance, we really need to know the base drop chance on each activity in order for them to actually be worth buying.
-
If if three of coins are working right and they only grant .5x to the base drop chance, we really need to know the base drop chance on each activity in order for them to actually be worth buying.
you just made a bell ring.... its not 50% its 5% or .05% you know... given bungies track record with % and in regards to my other post about dmg04

Bungie is full of themselves and simply don't care. They will not reimburse players for wasting their shards with their broken system. How can they be this bad at Bungie. They need to clean house and get people that know how to make the game a success
