[b]Let Me Clear This Up[/b] The reasons the forums are constantly on fire regarding D2 are the following: - Bng stripped the entire game of D1 that we all invested in only to sell it back to us using the same guns, same skins, same mechanics, THE SAME ENEMIES..., and more...and by more i mean much less. A quest for Mida Multi Tool..... [b][i][u]WTF BNG[/u][/i][/b] honestly - Most people on this forum who are noticed have been around for a long while and played every expansion. We all went nuts when the blades of crota enteted the world, or the wolves proweled, or the siva outbreak occured. And we ALL loved Age of Triumph. It was fantastic. There was so much to earn and do even if we'd done it a million times. Aaaaand then we got D2. And immediately after install, even before the campaign, faces dropped. Hopes were shattered. Because we knew it was nothing like D1. And when we finished the story and played the pvp we all wanted to throw flaming bags of poo at bungie. --Addendum to the above: D1 was in fact the best game i had and have ever played. I loved it so much. Im a grown man and i played the shit like i had no life at all. Too much. I believe bungie are attempting to save us from ourselves with this game, but it just feels hollow as a result. - Graphic changes to character models. D1 had better graphics. Bottom line. But Bng couldn't make the game run properly with all of that detail. So now we have characters which look like complete shit. Lack of anti-aliasing, costume clipping issues, titans look like dwarves, everything is blurred, its kind of a disaster and i cant believe its not a hotter issue. - Things to do. This goes back to what i was saying about us playing too much, but now there is NOTHING to do outside of earning tokens. No dailies. No bounties with hidden loot. No strike specific loot. Nothing. And yes. There is in fact a lot to do. But at the same time THERES NOTHING TO DO. Lol. Its a quandary and its the same thing that plagued D1. - No one likes getting tokens as a reward. It doesnt feel rewarding. I get it. But no one likes it. - Record books, and quests. Where are they?? Wtf - Context: The raid has no context, strikes dont have opening dialogue and context, etc. - Lore. Oh man this is a baaaad one. What in the fuk happened to all the writers at bng? Did they get fired, give up, are they on vacation?? Who wrote the books of sorrow? For fuks sake theres almost no lore in the game. I would be pissed if i were Byf, or Myelin or some one who does lore stuff because from that standpoint its lacking in many ways. These guys are just making shit up. You cant even trust the story line because there is no story line. Fukin mess. ---The reason i dont think this post is relevant is because Bungri already knows all of this and chose to run with it. Giving them feedback falls on def ears because they MADE THE GAME....
