Someone brought up an interesting idea earlier, and I've noticed a few trends in hardware among the banned, but I'd like to get more data and confirm before I start throwing around theories.
Would you guys mind doing a hardware survey? Basically just asking your CPU/GPU/RAM/Motherboard, and anything else you think is relevant, thanks in advance!
For example, here's mine
cpu: 7700k i7
gpu: nvidia 1080ti
ram: 64 gb of some ddr4 that I frankly don't remember, 3200mhz iirc
motherboard: ASUS mobo, forget exact model, z170 chipset
This may be a dead end or a red herring, but I feel like I might be on to something. Especially focused on video cards, but the rest of the information could prove relevant as well.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/venturebeat.com/2017/10/25/destiny-2-pc-players-claim-bungie-is-banning-them-without-justification/amp/ Very interesting article. If you say the word ban the 1st hardware that comes to mind is Asus. Bungie screwed up let's call them on it.

2 отв.Изменено (Genesis): 11/5/2017 10:16:13 PMEither ASUS is by far the most popular mobo out there OR I'm seeing a pretty strong pattern. I see Asus in almost every post... Not all motherboards but some type of asus product is in every post. Oh wait.. accept for HollowDean.
"Randomly banned" people - Hardware survey?
That's more like it! This is exactly what we should expect from the PC Master Race! Actual research and trouble shooting! Brilliant!

Join in here and spread your story. Banning needs to be better monitored. Share your findings! I'm trying to consolidate all the information we have into one post that can be easyish to read while appealing to every story we have out there. Great idea @Kahuna https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/237799047

I've got an asus motherboard as well, can't for the life of me remember anything about it, checking on it tomorrow but thought I'd pop in and add another name to the list of people with ASUS tech getting banned. It seems plausible that it could be something with ASUS motherboards as that's what I'm starting to see as a trend

1 ответИзменено (Yazzi): 11/6/2017 1:26:26 AMHonestly reading through the replies here the common denominator that I seem to be seeing is every single person that I saw who have replied are running Intel cpu's. Don't know if it means anything, but sure seems to be common among those who are getting banned for some reason. Edit: Ton of Nvidia gpu's as well

There's a # on twitter called #destiny2 thats used to show off destiny 2 related stuff. I've just seen a few users saying they've been unfairly banned. Go onto twitter and post about it using that #. If we cant get through to bungie then they might see it on twitter.

i7 7700k GPU:GTX770 16g DDR4 Gigabyte Z170 whateverwhatever Windows 10 Applications generally running in background: Puush, Discord, logitech gaming software, inputmapper, corsair link, visual studio. I doubt hardware has anything to do with it, and more likely a background process running. Clearly there is an error somewhere here; The forums are filled with these kind of posts.
