They just made faction rallies even harder to farm?

EDIT 3: I take it all back. In Bungie's effort to slow down token farming, someone has already discovered a certain area that's even faster than last rally event with the new changes. Typical Bungie I guess. I should have known.
EDIT 4: Just hit the engram cap for New Monarchy and no new scout rifle or a complete armor set (missing chest and arms). I did however get 15-20 Coronation Mark titan butt-towels with matching Restoration VIII auto rifles...

Instead of farming the explosives, just go for the ogre. Rinse and repeat. Sure, you won't be getting 6 tokens at a time, but you'll still be getting more tokens than if you did other activities.

I'm just gonna do it to stock up on NM shaders. Weapons and armor for all 3 factions are just reskins anyway.

I don't see a problem with the changes. The problem was and apparently still will be the terrible economy system. Tokens for RNG engrams to seldomly gotten Faction gear that will likely just be repeats is the issue. Say hello to 12 more pairs of 291 Devastation Complex and no sweet Auto Rifles.

3 отв.Are you kidding me... The only nerf was to the enemy resources in lost sectors and a decrease of tokens for heroic public events. That difference is so minimal and logical I don't see how you could have a problem with it.

There are only a limited number of guns and gear on the list, and if these stupid buggers think that the entire fun, purpose, point of the game is to accumulate Tokens, so you can accumulate the same guns'n'gear, they're crazy! I'm not doing strikes now, because they sure as hell aren't fun, and all I get is a few Tokens. Nothing's changed! I don't do Nightfall now, because I just can't get past the timer, it sure as hell ain't fun, and all I get is a few Tokens. Nothing's changed! Public Events can be a bit of fun sometimes, as long as you're happy to ride endlessly around the freakin planet on your bike, looking for one that actually has players in it! And the reward! Yay!!! Tokens. Are these fellers on the same planet as most of the rest of us? I rattled up 550 Tokens for the four planets, mainly for something to sort of look at as an achievement. I went to Sloan with 200, and said, "Gimme some stuff." She did. Most were duplicates (with the same roll, natch, as per the rules) and the odds and ends weren't something that I got excited about. D1 was similar, just that they cut out the token bullshit (or other way around, D2 introduced the token bullshit.) but at least you might get a better roll on the gun or gear. Not now! why? Because dumbass Smith decided that the whiney's were outclassed in PvP. As soon as they got shot with anything, it had to be nerfed for the unattainable balance. I got news for ya Smithy, old lad... [i]It doesn't matter a rat's ass what the guns or gear is, the match will [u]always[/u] be won by the better player![/i]

1 ответHow do I pledge allegiance to a faction? When I talk to the faction peeps, they're all just like, "hey we're awesome, wouldn't it be great to be one of us?" Then the emo one /wrists and passes out. Not sure what that's all about. Either way, I haven't been able to join a faction.

Изменено (unspoken threats): 11/3/2017 4:02:21 AMThe biggest most glaring issue I have with this is not the reallocation of how tokens are obtained, but that none of the weapons are worth grinding for. This is my personal opinion and many may disagree; however, I pledged allegiance to FWC initially and got True Prophecy and The Number (beasts in their respective classes) as well as the scout, albeit I wasn’t as hyped as others were about it. That said, New Monarchy and Dead Orbit’s guns were mediocre. There’s no need, currently, for me to pledge allegiance elsewhere for rewards I don’t believe will diversify my arsenal. I’m glad they’ve made strikes more enticing, but f all that jazz. I’m good.

They love to nerf anything that is working rather that tweaking what is not. I'm not sure how much I'll play, it's not going to be worth the time. +2 tokens for doing 12 - 15 minute strike. (~ 1 pkg per hour) NF you only get them you 1st play through. Sounds like lost sectors will be the best bet, but how many of those can you do before extreme bordom puts you to sleep? LOL. It's like most of the game I doubt will see any major changes unless people stop playing or play less.

Does it matter? Get all the tokens you want... Guns are just literally more reskins. I’m doubtful they’ll even have meaningful stats. Yeah, hate to say it but I might sit out til dlc. And even then just play through story once. /:P

2 отв.Didn't they say that they were going to implement a way to buy gear with shards the next go'round? Yeah the changes you mention suck, but I'm not going to get all cranky about it until I know for sure I won't have something to spend these 4812 shards on.

7 отв.Yes and no. A 3 man team can each rotate to the different lost sectors at the same time and get a total of 9 tokens (3 per section). It only works if you have 3 people in the fireteam. Doing public with three people would probably take the same amount of time but you would have only gotten 8 tokens instead.
