I used to strive for flawless in D1 and I carried that over to D2, but when I finally went flawless I looked through all my loot and was completely disappointed because I realized everything you get for flawless is the same as anyone else can get, the wepons are the same weap that people get from clan engrams and even the gear looks the same as gear people get for not going flawless... So why even try to do it if people that can't reach the flawless level like me can have the exact same gear?

All the guns you get going Flawless is the same you get from popping tokens or getting the clan engram. It would've been better if the gear had raid perks or at least the guns did extra damage to Cabal or did more damage to the crystals in the bath house etc... Trials Flawless gear should've looked decked out in freaky Agent of the Nine style ornaments.. Hunter cape with the long tassels and sexy glowing star pony?? Titan chest with a sash that hangs over your shoulder with the Nine logo and puffy black fur that glows? Warlock chest with glowing glyphs and ornaments?? When I see a flawless team I want to say, "Damn, their armor looks sexy as hell! I want it!" The emblem is decent, but pfft.

This entire game has zero point and lacks an urge to play entirely

No ones talking about it for a reason. It's just there, forgettable.

Flawless gear has a different name and has a special glow between the crevices. Also you get a flawless aura you can equip, not to mention an emblem that track flawless cards.

So you can brag and say "look at me I went flawless!" Beyond that there's no point. I stopped caring about trials when elemental primaries stopped being a thing as that was the only reason I cared. Now everything is super dumbed down and armor doesn't even have perks on them anymore so once again, no reason to do trials at all really.
