I'm still missing my clan engrams ... I believe I just got 1 back at launch week. Did the nightfall yesterday and still nothing.
-
It's not working, your fix or whatever. Just did a nightfall and nothing from Hawthorne and it shows it wasn't completed, even though it was.
-
Did you do a nightfall with another clan member in your fire team?
-
Nope, I did it with friends who are in other clans. I have done this before and it has given them, just like the crucible engram. Did it change, because It doesn't say anywhere you have to run them with clan members, that was the whole purpose of this if I'm not mistaken. So they can earn rewards for being in the clan, just not Bing able to do it.
-
I order to receive clan rewards at least half your fire team must consist of clan members. This is the way it’s been since release of destiny 2
-
Ok, I will give that a try😁
-
Also. Note that if you leave a clan in favor of another one you will not receive any clan rewards for that week and will have to wait until reset
-
Clan engrams require half the team to be in the event. PvP, raid etc.
-
Hmm so a screw up that affected the entire destiny community will not be fixed amd engrams will not be recieved really destiny 1 we will get on it vs destiny 2 eh youll get another one.
-
I am still waiting for that to happen! My gamer tag is drhirams.

"Moving forward, newly earned engrams will appropriately be awarded to qualifying clans when objectives are completed." -Not true - clan engram rewards are still broken -Please fix this as soon as possible. It's rough enough dealing with the plethora of bugs in the raid and other activities, but to then get 0 rewards for doing it is really demotivating and dissuading to continue playing.
-
Clan did trials after the patch, but the new engram still didn't show. I think the bug still exists.
-
@BNGHelp5 :( oh well, at least it'll work next week. Thanks for the update.
-
Wouldn't it have been better for all parties to just reset the clan engrams while fixing it? The chance to earn them again after your bug would of been better than saying it's fixed but soz no engrams already earnt
-
clan page tells me to go claim my engram for beating the raid but hawthorne doesn't have anything for me
-
Why not? You can't seriously expect players to believe you can't do this, so saying that you WON'T do it tends to leave a bit of a bitter taste in your player's mouths.
-
I appreciate the quick response regarding this issue and look forward to next week Clan Engrams. Once Again, Thank you for your time.
-
That’s just great, 2 weeks rewards missing and just get told come back next week 👍 and nothing to make up for it 👏👏 thanks for that
-
Really? How's that fair?
-
would it be fair to give those that got the engrams a duplicate engram? Only way they could do it because it would be impossible to determine who got shafted by the bug and who didn't
-
I'd rather everyone else get two of something than some people getting nothing. I'm also pretty sure they could figure out who got shafted if they wanted to
-
it's not as simple as you would think. A simple explanation of how the system most likely works is that there is a check in place on whether or not an account grabbed the engrams. A simple "yes" or "no" check. If a certain engram gets triggered to "yes" the entire account is locked out of that engram. Unless they put into place a system recording when and where a particular guardian grabbed each engram there would be no way to determine if the bug triggered the "yes" or if the player actually did grab it themselves. The difference of opinion we have whether or not players should get double reward is exactly why Bungie should not do it. I too lost engrams to this bug but to artificially inflate players who are already ahead seems to me a bigger disappointment. Bungie needs to make a PR move and not giving out extra engrams is the lesser of two evils and safer way not to upset the minority who didn't get their engrams. (most players got them)
-
Given the vastness of the data that Bungie collect about their player base I would be extremely surprised to find that they don't track when players have picked up their engrams. From their patch notes I'm assuming the problem is their mechanism for deciding if a player is ineligible based on joining or leaving a clan mid-week has locked a number of players out of receiving the engrams and Bungie is simply too busy and deem the issue too minor to bother reversing it for the week.

gee thanks
