I suggest you message your opponents at the beginning of the match asking them to play badly so you can have more 1:1 gunfights. Your other alternative is stick with your team.

Nah, I'll just play Titanfall 2 until the likes of Cod/Battlefront come out. Nothing forcing me to play this garbage.

Which takes zero skill.

Team shooting does not require skill. Single handedly holding down a location with the No Land Beyond by pre-aiming, effectively managing cool downs, and forcing spawn locations required skill. Right now, crucible requires less skill/strategy than COD or Titanfall.

Destiny Crucible is a loot farm attached to a PvE game. When did sticking a sticky grenade on someone or supering a a team 1v3 take skill? Now it takes skill not to die. Granted a different skill of not doing dumb things like running into 2v1 gunfights and working with your team vs spamming grenade and sidearm but it's skill nonetheless.

Team. Shooting. Is. Not. Skill. It is stacking damage as a group. It is strength in numbers and nothing more.

Or put another way it's learning a different skill. With D2 PvP Bungie delivered modes that prioritize teamwork over the lone wolf play style. I'd argue that a solo player running into a 2v1 gunfight hoping to win is the very epitome of lack of PvP skill in D2. Sure they may have great sticky grenade throwing skill, excellent shotgun trigger pulling skill, fantastic sidearm spamming skill, unbelievable super activation skill or the best Icebreaker camping skill in all of D1 but those are D1 skills, not skills that win D2 PvP matches.
