Trials needs a tier system. Once you go flawless you should move up and play others that have gone flawless, and up and up from there.

WORTH THE READ: I don't mind pub stomping, but getting rolled by super high K/D players has always been a thing in Destiny/Trials. What I do mind and makes me rage is blatant laggers and people trying to cause network errors. I work and play out of my office, I have around $10K invested in hardware, fire walls and a private VPN. Guess what, I'm the guy who sends a screen shot of your house on Google Earth and warns you to stop or further action will be taken. I can also ban your IP so we don't get matched again, if I'm playing with or against you I can track your network traffic in real time. On just this past Saturday, as in yesterday, my fire team (I host) had 3 separate attacks launched against my network. 2 were DDoS, 1 was a flood and the other 2 players were cycling lag switching and were actually pretty freaking good at it once they dialed down how much they were modulating. I have video and I even have messages from them admitting to doing it but guess what... BUNGIE WONT SWING THAT BANHAMMER! Nor will they put corrective measures in place or raising their ping/internet speed requirements just to enter into PvP. I get that Destiny is a "shared" world and most people may not have the greatest of internet but let me say "I don't want to share with you". I have less than 3ms ping, clock 1GB Down and UP (actually it's around 987MB on avg), I also play on a <1ms video lag BENQ Monitor. So please Bungie, tell me HTF I'm getting shot around corners from bullet lag and how people Lagging either die a full 5 seconds after they're dead or take NO Damage!!! EDIT: This isn't me bragging. Yes I'm decent in PvP and have gone flawless each weekend, yes I have equipment that monitors this stuff (I'm not running a NASA terminal). This is me stating the obvious, THAT TRIALS Brings out the worst in cheaters and that it continues to plague end game PVP. I'm saying that even with blatant proof not much gets done. Monitoring also doesn't not violate ToS kiddos (attacking and manipulating does which I do not do). So holster those Hot Pockets and focus on the real rant here! PS: I am a very firm believer in Console bans over the suspensions (or slaps on the wrists Bungie gives them). People that charge for carries or even a better example the top 3 ELO players who were all found guilty of network manipulation and cheating should have gotten perm bans. These guys have plenty of time to power level and create a new gamertag. By the time they're shut down they have plenty of money to throw at a gamertag, but if you slap a console ban on them that hits them where it hurts.

The most broken trials I've ever experienced, played all 3 years of trials in D1 and can honestly say I'm concerned with the direction destiny pvp is headed.

Lol you people just expect to have end game rewards handed to you. If you lose, get better. Stop bitching about sucking on the forums.

Also, thanks for designing a system that lets stacked teams farm tokens by stomping first matches and resetting their cards continuously. You guys are not good at designing things that can be exploited, nor do you do much about it once people figure it out.

I gave it a shot last night Cozmo. I won't be going back. If you all can't figure out how to match up teams based on their relative skill, there is no reason to even try.

Trials still continue to be the ultimate joke and cash grab of Bungie's universe. There is no Ranked Tier System. There is no cheating prevention system Every streamer continues to cash on Trials Carry Even Bungie.net is filled with Paid carry messages I wish Trials will be removed from Destiny once for all. It is ultimate disgrace for gaming and competitive gaming.

Why not a league play system like cod black ops 2 (best ranked system ever in pvp in my opinion) Only active in trials, the better you do - the better your rank. You only play others with similar rank. The higher ranks give better or more rewards - got to be an incentive for people to get better right guys?! Also have it structured like black ops 2 and even destiny tracker - the divisions are split into bronze, silver, gold, platinum etc. Food for thought.

Can I play it if I haven't completed the story? If not, fock yourself.

So I loaded up trials for the first time tonight and played for an hour. During that hour my team couldn't win a single round, we were just outplayed by much better teams. The best thing that players can do who are unhappy with this game mode is to stop playing it all together. Stop feeding the pros easy wins, and stop showing Bungie that we're interested by our participation numbers. Go to a different game for your pvp.

Have really enjoyed both weekends of Trials. Countdown on Eternity works well, is a fun challenge. In terms of match making, it works well at the moment. Teams have more chance than ever to go Flawless. Back like it was early D1 trials.

Honestly the way the matchmaking is in trials, there needs to be a lockout. Once you go flawless and complete all your milestones and get all your tokens from your wins lock the player out of trials for the weekend. Lower skilled players shouldn't be pubstomped just because the p2p or skill based (whichever) matchmaking is so broken that teams who've never even gone flawless get matched with full teams of flawless players. It's absolutely ridiculous and bungie would be solving multiple issues with a form of lockout. 1. Players would actually be able to find people of their caliber to go head to head with which would result in less frustration more play percentage of the mode in general as well as keeping the higher tier players from getting bored as they'd have their opponents actually at their level instead of just outclassing the entire enemy team. 2. Paid carries. First of all its against terms of service and action should've already been taken to stop this but whatever the reason it hasn't, a lockout would stop these from being a thing simply because people would only get to play so long as they had a goal left unaccomplished. (Milestones, wins, ect) This needs to be implemented because it's absolutely ridiculous how broken the matchmaking can be. I've said my piece but at some point we also gotta talk about fixing hunters. Not getting into it here because that's a topic for a different day and if I start talking about how useless and underwhelming the dodge and hyper armor in supers are compared to the other 2 classes this post would become a book.
