Destiny 2 // ALL Gear is Dropping Lower than my Current Power Level
Everything in the game was working properly until I created a 2nd Titan and transferred gear over. After this, engrams and gear are dropping at 268 power while I'm at 275. This includes luminous engrams and exotic engrams. I've also gotten 268 gear from the Nightfall, so I really don't know what to do to progress further. I've seen other posts about this same issue, but Bungie isn't acknowledging the issue. It's obviously a bug and is completely ruining the experience for me and for several other Guardians. I hope this gets resolved soon. Thanks for the read fellow Guardian and please get this issue trending! <3

For example, my Hunter is at 1302 power level, my Prime Engrams drop at 1302 or above on my Hunter but when I switch to my Titan or Warlock, both at 1301 power level, the prime engrams AND powerful engrams drop at 1300 consistently.

It doesn’t only happen to secondary characters of the same class. I had this problem with my original character (who was a titan), and my secondary character (who was a warlock). The whole point of me switching was because I thought I broke my titan somehow with the loot drops.

I am 281 almost 282 and I am still getting light level 271 legendaries. even my exotics are only 276. i cannot increase anymore so i guess im just done playing.

I'm currently power 286 but every item is being dropped at 276, and therefore i can't increase my power level past where i am now. I think i've dropped 276 power items for almost 3 days now, including exotics (i haven't checked powerful engrams). I can understand dropping some items below current power level but i think 10 is a bit much

128 отв.I spoke with the dev team about this. They said that secondary characters of the same class don't get the weekly power bonus. They didn't want to force players to have three of the same class to create the optimal way to increase their power level.

I'm having the same problem. All rewards and engrams are dropping at 268. I only have one character.

2 отв.I'm having the same problem on both of My warlocks, I hope this is a bug that can be rectified and not be design as I have now wasted a lot of time making the second character.....

Thank you for the info, but there is much more that needs to be addressed. Please fix this issue so many of us are having. I just wrote a very long comment on the forum and the help page bc I think I ruined my Warlock this week unintentionally. I, like many others is this thread, never had two of the same characters, I did delete my only Warlock because I wanted to recreate her. I wanted to do adjustments to her looks and join a different faction and also get the powerful gear from the milestones bc that is the only thing that is worthwhile for me to do anymore each week. Now all of my milestone rewards are lower than they should be or were last time I got them, even though I never had two warlocks or two of any of the same characters. I use and enjoy all three classes. Please help, address and correct this Bungie. If this only last until the reset, cool, but if this is permanent then I am very disappointed and this is a huge problem and extremely unfair and broken since there was absolutely no disclaimer or notice. A lot of long time loyal players (myself included) are being unfairly affected by this undisclosed ridiculous attempt to force players to use all three classes and to never edit or change their own characters without being penalized. I love this game and sink a lot of time each week into it with my friends, but this really puts a bad taste in my mouth and is ruining the fun and experience for me. Please notify and address your fan base on if this is permanent, a bug (for those that deleted and recreated and never had two characters of the same class), planning to be fixed or what the players can do (if anything). I really do not want my one and only Warlock and favorite character to be penalized for something that is completely unfair and wasn't ever disclosed properly beforehand. Thank you for your time.

Which makes doing these activities a total waste of time. (Why grind an incredible hard Strike or spend hours doing these activities if I can get the same level gear from a Heroic Public Event?) It appears that it doesn't Matter if you have multiple characters of the same type it's the same issue across the board. The question is how can this be rectified? ( Short Answer Remove the Soft Leveling Caps and let players get increasing power level gear until they max out.) I would like to be rewarded and not punished for the hours I put in to complete the Milestones that supposed to drop More Powerful Gear than your current Power Level. My Wife and I both prefer to Play as Warlocks (It is what is) In Destiny 1 at least the gear that is supposed to drop at a higher level did so until you were maxed out Regardless of what type of Player you had. Destiny 2 thousands of Players all saying the same thing. Leveling Up System in Destiny 2 is broke. Is Bungie going to fix this?

same happend to me. i only have 1 titan at 277 light now all my rare, legendary, and exotic as well as vendor items all drop at 270 giving me no way to progress at all.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? 285 and can't gain any power. Even exotics and powerful are stuck at 275.

1 ответEven though I deleted my second Titan several days ago now, all the engrams are still dropping a full 10 levels UNDER my power level. Because of this I have had to grind and grind and grind just trying, hoping, and wishing for anything to drop to help me. As an older gamer I have severe arthritis in both of my hands and let me tell you, it has not been fun some days. And while I have always truly loved playing Destiny, I must admit that there have been times lately that it has felt more like work than a relaxing hobby.

Effectively this has become a rewardless game (which to me is the funnest part of the game). *** This is preventing me from getting to 280 so I can use the new guided group finder for the raid *** This is compounded by the chest material cayde chest drop issues as well (which I would be willing to live with if I could get a drop past 266). This is really deplorable.

1 ответI'm having the same issue. I'm at 271 (was 273 before version 1.05) and keep getting 266 engrams. Even if I inspect the engrams at Banshee or Shaxx for example they still sit at 266. I only have one character and it is my main that got ported over from Destiny One. Also I don't know if these luminous engrams are the bright engrams that we get from eververse. If they are not then I'm not getting any of those.

I have a titan, Hunter & warlock, My titan and warlock are 305 but luminous engrams and packages etc are all dropping 295-298 wth?

It is already known that luminous Engrams on a second identical class character (like a second Titan) will not drop higher than your light level. I guess this extends to exotics as well. This is intended by Bungie. If you were playing a Hunter, they would be higher

4 отв.yeah im 288 and am stuck gear grops 10 or 11 levels below where im at now and keep getting duplicate exotics and the same rare gear over and over again. its like they only have 5 pieces of gear in this game spread out across 4 planets.....

1 ответTOTAL BS, my brother uses my system all the time. We both like warlock class, but he never set up his own gamer tag. So is it not ok to have more than one person playing the game at once? Very dissappointed... we should be able to play the game I paid for as I see fit. I don't like hunter class so I will just never use one slot. 20 hours of his time wasted...unacceptable!!!!

1 ответI'm 288 and nightfall, and flash point rewards were only 278 on my second character. What is the point? Am I only allowed to earn rewards 1 time a week? The quest said MORE powerful gear.

1 ответIm at 271 and all blues drop at 262 and exotics + legendary drop at 265 it's impossible to get better gear which makes it pointless to play This game is a mess

This game has lost it's edge. I'm waiting for Anthem. Keep whining to Bungie they are on a tropical island spending your loot while you waste away your time trying to make sense of this bullshite.
