My spektar helmet has 3 defense
So recently I got this help request for not being able to return to tower (Requirements not met) so I redid the mission restoration. So the next day I finished the level 41 prison of elders and opened my treasure of ages and I got a spektar helmet. I got really excited but then it had 3 defense... I think this is somehow related to re-doing the mission restoration. Can anyone help me? The same was for when I bought a random vanguard item and the item also had 3 defense. The items are fine when I open engrams but not when I receive packages or open treasure of the ages. Please help.

Items from those boxes are always 3 armor. Because you can buy them with real money so you have to infuse them with gear you've earned to make them as powerful

Yes nothing wrong. All armour dropped from packs is 3 light but you are able to infuse your other kit into it to bring it up. This is due to the packs you got it from can be bought for real money but Bungie is against pay to win so items are cosmetic when the first drop (no cheating to get your light lv up by buying a load of packs).
