Can any of these changes be explained by lore?
We played the Beta. We've gotten a small taste of the over arching story line. Guardians lose their light and have to work to get it back. Is this why my characters feel so underpowered and the Cabal take forever to kill now?
Is it possible we'll get explanations for why golden gun works better on other guardians in PVP than cabal in PVE once the full story drops?
Thoughts?

2 отв.The other guardians in pvp are just as weak as we are, and in the strike the cabal's light level is 10 higher than our own and ours will go higher so in the full game we will be able to get stronger and they will be easy to take down again

Lore is there to serve the game mechanics. . . not the other way around.

If you die in Homecoming at least you'll see that the recommended LL is 210 and we're all 200 LL. Think that is purely a gameplay perspective and not lore.

No they were all made for balance, an attempt at balance, or to be sold back at a future dlc.

6 отв.Something I would have preferred to see which I will wait till the release to see if it happens or not... Would be that our supers and abilities are the same during the home coming mission, and that after we lose and regain our light our abilities have been altered by the loss of the light so that we are the same but different explaining the change in our abilities. But I understand this is a "fresh start" and a "new game" but I'm still looking forward to the release.

The answer is simple, the Cabal are using Destiny 1 guns and armor.

Firstly probably related directly to the Crucible. It's for guardians to get stronger by practicing some Sword Logic on each other, it's not really about winning/losing/defeating one another. It's about growing stronger together through violence, death and rebirth.
