Shoulder charge was a risk v reward ability in D1 that would be useless if not a 1 hit kill. D2 may be different but i feel Bungie just should have removed sc from the game rather than rendering it useless.

Maybe it was a risk vs reward after they nerfed the mobility and radius. Up until that point, it had insane radius.

And it still is High risk, High reward: In that every other opponent has to melee you 3 times to kill you, if you get off that shoulder charge, you only have to follow up with 1 more punch. That is pretty high risk, high reward to me.

Now the risk is less … so the reward is less.
