Edit: Pulled the stats up...likely it is the abysmal range. Looks like it is a slightly different version of an Assembly II...which means a base range around 15? So it will bloom like a mofo. May need something to mitigate that accuracy mess most of all.
Had some other high ROF autos a while back that I really wanted to like, but they were just too unmanageable. Some were actually Assembly2's, one was a Hex Caster... and I think an Extremophile. Think I kept the New Orbit one and used the rest for infusions. Rodeo, PB, CB... didn't really seem to matter much when they had crappy aim to begin with (keep in mind I main a pulse too, so more accustomed to the ~30m gunfights). Was a good Spring Cleaning session last IB though... finally managed to get all my primaries in the vault to 400. If you could get Hidden Hand on that one perk column, that bugger should play like a completely different animal, or maybe a good Acc/Range perk.
Still debating whether to jump in this weekend to grab one of those autos. I just can't seem to really get into AR's. Just generally seem more a novelty, with a very narrow window where they may be viable in PvP (excluding a few exceptions, of course).

I apparently just had an aversion for the primary holographic sight with the highest Stability rating. After switching to the secondary iron sights (which resemble the No Land Beyond's iron sights,) I've found that this gun actually isn't all that bad. It has higher aim assist than Doctrine but doesn't have Persistence and also has a lower equip speed and Doctrine technically has better range overall as well.
