14 отв.They overbooked-shame on them The guy refused to get off-shame on him If it's unsafe to fly with that many people on the plane then what did the guy want them to do? Not fly? Someone had to get off but they didn't have to be a baby ab it and force the airline to get security.
-
My biggest issue, why the -blam!- wouldn't they have the crew get onboard first so they knew how many people could actually go? Seriously....not hard to keep track of that shit. Secondly, instead of voluntarily, why wouldn't they just have the last 4 people that boarded get off? Why wouldn't the staff be ready to board, they have priority anyway.....dumbass airline. Hope they get sued.

1 ответI was hung up on when I contacted the United administrations office. I was asking if I could apply to be part of the EXTRACTION TEAM. I love physically demanding jobs like that. Apparently they were fully staffed already.

2 отв.I don't really know what the big deal is. It sounds pretty normal to me. One time I went to McDonald's, and after waiting for my food for 10 minutes, I was told they were out of fries. Then they beat the hurt out of me and dumped me on the sidewalk.

26 отв.I feel like we're not getting some facts. Like, seriously, why was he so adamantly against leaving? There are some stories saying he had been in trouble for using drugs and others saying he'd originally considered taking it until he learned the next flight wouldn't be until the next day. Like what was the reason he needed to go that day? Were his patients in desperate need? Or was there some drug problem he needed to be home for before withdrawal? Or was there some other mental health issue? On the airline's side, seriously they -blam!-ed up. Was there no other way to get their employees to the destination? I can't remember the locations involved, but I remember them saying it was like a 4 hour drive. Could they not just have the staff drive over? Or take another airline? Were people willing to take a voluntary bump for more money? If so, why didn't they just up the offers?

1 ответUnited Airlines can go suck it. They're already failing at damage control acting like it was the doctor's fault for not complying. Sure. A guy that is just trying to go home and do his job the next day needs to get beaten and bloodied because he doesn't want to get off the flight. I hope they go under for treating their customers like $#!t. It's already a terrible experience flying anyways. Did they really need to make it worse for everyone?

3 отв.Uniteds CEO just came out saying the passenger was "disruptive and belligerent" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39563570 I mean, who would expect him to be pissed about being inconvenienced and denied a service he paid for due to poor practise?

8 отв.Изменено (Bob): 4/11/2017 12:46:34 PMCould it have been handled better? Yes it could have. But when you get randomly selected to get off the plane and refuse to do so, should they just be like "well darn ok we will have to pick someone else" like the guy brought it on himself Also the girl crying "look what you did to him" in the video...lol if it was so bad why don't you just volunteer to give up your seat
