Destiny 2 - Character Changes
In Destiny 2 I obviously wanna transfer my Day 1 Hunter over to continue his adventure just because I like the idea of keeping my first Guardian like...........forever.
HOWEVER.
I would really like to change his race. I originally made him a standard looking white guy aaaaand now I just wanna have a badass gunslinging exo.
I think I speak for many Guardians when I say we would like to have the option to make changes to the customisation of our characters when moving to the new game. As we all wanna keep our Day 1 characters just to be able to say, "I've had this character since Day 1" but many are already questioning the decisions our 2014-self made when creating our hero.
So, Bungie, please do this one thing. Please. Allow me to change from a human to an exo in Destiny 2 while keeping the character and all it's history EXACTLY the same.
What are the odds they'll never see this and this just won't happen...

I rolled one of each class and race, because I like to have everything represented if possible. Exo Titan, Awoken Hunter, Human Warlock. I mained my Exo Titan for a long time, but when my buddies started playing around TTK they rolled up a Human Titan and an Awoken Warlock. I switched mains to my Hunter to help round out the team, but I'd rather her be an Exo just to keep the party balanced. I realize race means nothing to gameplay balance, but it's a visual thing for me, to see all races/classes represented in the party. If the current word holds true and absolutely nothing transfers other than current race/class/sex combos, then I'll likely re-roll my characters. I'm not horribly attached to them. On the other hand, if bringing D1 characters up to D2 gives bonus content, even as simple as a shader or armor skin or something, then of course I'd rather do that and have the option to re-roll my looks. So yeah, sign me up.
