Stop with the "primary meta" garbage.
Sorry but I just checked destiny tracker and wormwood is at the top of all kills. There's 3 special weapons in the top PvP meta weapons. This is honestly sad, bungie should've know this community was going to crutch to side arms because they want the easiest way out, and will spam special no matter what. Then people rely on abilities even more than usual and hide more. This meta is such a joke. I wish there was a youtuber that said how it is instead of sugarcoating. But people are sensitive and don't wanna hear it.
Point is this is not a primary by any means. Side arms are spammed more then matador, and if you aren't using one yourself you're screwed. Other special are being used even LESS, during matador meta you could use a fusion, side arm, and sniper. Now it's wormwood or die. And please don't let me get started on NLB and its broken ass.
I made an alt to my main, and when I was facing lower skill players, they used their primary more than I've seen in a long time. But since SBMM started kicking in I'm posting again, not better, but more "experienced players" or to translate: I have no skill and spam sidearm and abilities. Can't remember the last real gunfight I had.. No I'm not bad or shotgun warrior, the kills I get are more than 50% primary, which I avg 20+ kills a game.
Make side arms have no special on spawn after death like the others and maybe it'll be this "primary meta" crap people say.
Edit: Apparently people can't read and think I'm saying NLB and sidearm is OP, nothing in this game is, just annoying and cheap. I've been hated anything sniper, and sidearms too, this meta reinforces that.

Came back to destiny after the patch. Tried a whole bunch of guns in my vault that ive been saving. 😤they are still shit😭. Sad that with this many weopons its meta or death.

If you'd've told someone 2 years ago during HoW that no land and sidearm are op, they'd of laughed and called you pathetic. If you'd've told someone 2 months ago no land side arm are op and should be nerfed they would laugh at you and call you pathetic. If you really think that no land is broken you are pathetic. Side arm spam is annoying but I see them fixing that soon.

I'm sorry, but with the name "Always Sarcastic," I can't tale you seriously. The whole thing about sidearms are always having ammo. Take that away and it's a misplaced primary.

1 ответOf course players stick to secondaries dear, the second a primary is usable it's called op. Look at clever dragon, doctrine of passing before that and mida and hawksaw before that.

11 отв.There's a reason why special ALWAYS gets used more than primaries. Primary weapons just don't kills fast enough. Movement in this game is so quick that players generally weasel their way out of most engagements. The best ttk (and I hate to say it) was that of the old clever dragon. This is why clever dragon and hand cannons used to be so good. The rest of the guns just aren't fast enough so people resort to special.

I ran Abyss Defiant and trespasser when I last played I think. I must say side arms are prominent but overall I enjoy it. I've never actually managed to use Abyss somewhat easily till now, and now I can just rotate thru all my primaries when I want. I just prefer this meta compared to other ones

Man im having a blast in this meta. I forced myself with a parthian shot and dregs promise and crows eye through the clever flinching dragon matador meta. I suck but tracking my stats i see they keep going up since the weapon update. I am happy and i think once the ammo for sidearms gets adjusted things will be even better.

I use a hella accurate lingering song, and a jabberhakke I saved from long ago. With a sleeper stimulant as my heavy most of the time. I usually would have a fusion rifle or depending on the match another secondary, but I get tired of searching for ammo every time I respawn, not that special takes long to respawn it's just an inconvenience. I can hold my own with only a primary and abilities, but there are times when I just get spammed with a wormwood or decimated by a trespasser from a distance I should have the advantage in. I am a mid to close quarters fighter on all my chars so I'm always getting sidearmed or stuck with supersonic sticky grenades. Also, why does wormwood have hitscan? Or near hitscan. I think Halle sidearms should be the only ones with improved velocities.

1 ответI agree with this post but have to say although the meta is side arms I don't actually get killed by them a lot. I think the data is skewed because nearly everyone is using them but aren't actually that good with them. I do love having more primary engagements so definitely change the sidearm ammo and keep the rest of the special changes and I'm good. I also saw someone on here say removed exhumed because it is now a defunct perk on specials. Very good point.

Better side arms than freaking shotguns or sniper rifles. I was never good with anything other than a scout rifle or pulse rifle.

If sidearms lose ammo upon death, then people will just go right back to using shotguns with a few more primary fights when they don't have ammo.
