I don't have a Switch and probably never get one, because I heard so many compliances that it's just 50/50 that your Switch doesn't suck.
List of things I heard:
The dock is just hard plastic so it can scratch your screen.
Disconnects when you controller is few feet away from the Switch.
Those safety strings if you put them wrong they never click out.
Lots of glitches when playing games.

The stuck controller can be fixed with sliding a shim in between them to click the release, but still shouldn't be able to click together in the first place
