The shitty fps drops are annoying.
Zelda runs like shit when it's docked, unfortunately.

Sucks bro. Been playing it at my friends the last few days and haven't had and fps drops it other problems. Smooth sailing here

Runs fine to me. Occasionally I've ran into frame rate issues. So far Zelda is my new favorite game to date. Haven't been this exited for getting off work to play a game since the n64 days. This is coming from someone who has both an Xbox one, PS4 and a pc. Nintendo just does what others don't think of. Very innovating. If a few frame rate issues bother people for this title, then the salt must be foaming from the mouth.

Изменено (Psyntifik): 3/6/2017 8:26:20 PMIt's common for me. And yeah, there is a bit of salt... I just invested over £250 into a machine that sinks to 20fps on the flagship game. It's clear it was ported over from the Wii. I might just return the Switch and play it on that. The portable mode is decent enough, but docked has just left a sour taste.

The village in the forest is the only place that truely chugs for me. It doesn't take away from the experience tho. I hear it runs smoother undocked, which I havnt played too much of.

In 3 hours I had as many drops. I wasn't pleased. 'smoother' being the operative word. I haven't noticed any dips or stutters whilst undocked, but I don't want to have paid all that money just to play games undocked. But of a shame really. Gonna keep my ear to the ground for a patch, and if none come up I'm gonna consider taking it back.

Doesn't it decrease the resolution undocked? Could that be why it doesn't while undocked and then when it increases it while docked it can't take it?
Doesn't it decrease the resolution undocked? Could that be why it doesn't while undocked and then when it increases it while docked it can't take it?
That's what I'm assuming. It almost feels like the game gets too big for its boots. It's pixel count and texture quality is increased by roughly 50%, however the clock speeds when docked only go up by about 20.

It was fine for me for the most part. It did drop a couple times after fast traveling but recovered quickly. Iv got roughly 40 hours so far and haven't encountered anything other than a couple slight fps drops like I mentioned.

Been running like a sideshow for me. It's still not smooth when portable, but it's at least not dropping
-
Man that sucks. I haven't had anything like that. Is your system getting hot? there have been some complaints of over heating..
-
Nope. I was looking online and Digital Foundry have been bumping into the same problem. I also was t expecting it to be capped at 30fps. That bugged me.

Really? Hope they can do something about that
