Addy’s rebirth into the broken future left her shaken to her core, and for months she remembered nothing, and when she finally did she wanted to die. The first year was the hardest, full of terrors in the night and suicide attempts; but during that time she came to find her reasons to keep living, to keep fighting. Addy began to explore the tower after her first few weeks, and came across an orphanage overflowing with children; she spent a lot of her downtime there and became attached to the kids. Some nights she’d even sleep there, where the kids could hold her as she cried out in her sleep, so she wouldn’t feel so alone when she awoke; about six months later she connected with her Fireteam, Daybreak, and Addy finally began to feel like she belonged. She found a friend in Dee (who was as caring as he was stubborn), a companion in Joan (who would keep her company during the long nights), and a confidante in Rue (who she learned wasn’t as sure of herself as she let everyone believe). Two and a half years after her awakening, Addy finally feels at home (even though she has her moments where she misses her old life) enough for her old personality to blossom again. She’s confident, happy, and a huge jackass, constantly getting up to mischief with her friends, and settling into the guardian life. She’s a fighter, but also a lover, and will fight with all of her heart until the bitter end.
