Maybe Call of Duty is more your style then. You die instantly from primary weapons. No point in hiding behind cover or trying to run away. All the guns feel pretty much the same. If you think that is fun, then have at it. There's no strategy, no positioning, load-outs mean almost nothing, no need for map awareness, etc. It's boring mindless chaos and crap. That seems to be what you you Destiny whiners seem to want for this game. No thanks.

He's not saying to make it CoD. We're in a pulse rifle meta, and he's saying to make weapons have similar kill times to those. If all weapons have similar kill times to pulses and hand cannons, then it's pretty balanced. And if that would be a CoD TTK then isn't this game already CoD? Because it's all pulse rifles and hand cannons.

Year one was nothing like COD and primary use was up because guns were consistent, and balanced better against special weapons. I would rather TTK for guns to be more deadly to force outcomes in primary vs primary combat, vs evade and set up for OHK special combat. That's my opinion, and an opinion that is shared by many, for good reason.

Bah. One of the reasons were are where we are right now is because of all the whining that happened in Y1. The only players who yearn for the Y1 nonsense are the hard core guys that had an advantage in hard to get weapons. You are definitely entitled to your opinion. A few dozen players on the message boards doesn't mean it's a majority in Destiny community, which measures in the millions.

Fact: Consistent, higher time to kill primary weapons did not lead to gameplay that resembled COD. Assumption: I look back on Y1 fondly, because I had weapon advantages. Besides, if you like the game as it is, wouldn't you been in absolute support of all the so called "whining" that changed the game? You have every right to oppose my suggestion, (and it doesn't have to be based on any reason), but providing completely subjective, false claims of y1 resembling COD, and blatantly contradicting yourself isn't going to win me over.

It's not that I support the Y1 whining, despite that I like where the game is at. I was never for nerfing guns into the ground. My point it that players need to be careful what they wish for. They just might get it.
