I feel that way about how Bungie lays out their bounties and differences between pve and pvp. 50 primary kills in rift? I capture. Who's got time to get 50 primary kills in a close quarter grab and dash? They want secondary 9 kills for the weekly, but they only have strikes that spawn a few and even if there might be a hoard, they nerfed the green ammo which usually requires you screw your team mates you're forced to mm with. You know anti team is not usually the goal. This bounty, it is. They don't want you to camp with snipers in pve. So the block out loading to the next level. But yet encourage sniping in pvp with most maps. The list goes on. Too many scenarios of inconsistencies with weapon and supers uses between pve and pvp. And let's not forget the cbmm situation. Lopsided teams and red bar heaven. It's killed pvp for me.

On the Subject of Weekly bounties: The primary kills required for the weekly is honestly what made me realize how bad the problem actually was, in reference to primary versus special balance. If I play the game the way that is required to not get smashed, which is using specials mostly, I'm left with between 20-30 kills on the bounty(when everything else is complete). If I choose to play with primaries, primarily, I perform very poorly and end up being a detriment to my team on top of being frustrated. I play with a range of skilled to non-skilled players, and everyone of them has made a comment about that portion of the bounty. I don't think that primary weapons need to be where they are, they are for "special" situations, instead of being promoted as the PRIMARY go-to weapons for combat. The whole thing is backwards to me and no matter how I try to acclimate myself to that concept, I find myself rejecting it, and trying to engage gunfights. These are engagements that, hands down were possible in year one, as well as any other shooter on the market(meaning primary weapons inhabit the primary role in gunfights). On the subject of SBMM and crucible: I have noticed less lag on my end(not completely gone), and if you check my stats, you can see that I'm not an elite player or anything... Which leads me to how bazaar it is that you are having such a different experience(I'm not questioning you). However, I'm seeing no more or less blowouts than I was before the MM changes. It's pretty much one game I do well, and my team wins, in the next few, my team is completely smashed along with myself. I'm sorry that you are having a shitty time with PVP, as I was one of the people who was reporting a lot of lag, and felt a change to MM would help. I suppose I'm somewhat responsible. To be fair though, I was talking about this well before the SBMM vs CBMM war began. As far as I'm concerned now, I wouldn't care if they just flipped the switch back and completely prioritized SBMM at this point, I'm done. Nothing works, I simply find the crucible utterly frustrating. Like I said in the OP, when it gets to a point to where the more time I put into the game, the worse I get, I have to bounce. On the subject of special ammo: Like the war over SBMM/CBMM, I believe that Bungie pulled this bullshit to deflect the blame off of themselves... Think about it, it was stated in the weekly update that the limitation of special ammo was specifically to target the overuse of sniper rifle's in PVP. Why on earth did they nerf special ammunition in PVE? I'll tell you why, and it was exactly what happened; so that the community would go to war with each other about how the PVP community keeps screwing the PVE community, just long enough for them to figure out how to deal with sniper rifles(which took over five months with two separate NERFS). Then they didn't even follow through with it. Special use is absolutely through the roof because people just migrated to shotguns and No land Beyond. All the while, they continue to not address the issue and PVE players are still stuck with less ammo. Who do we blame, the community instead of unifying and demanding that they make a change that works for both sides. Why am I always talking about unity, and it's importance? Because, if there's one thing to be said about the community surrounding a change to CBMM, They got together in full force, demanding that something be done(whether or not you agree with the results). When Bungie made the change, they knew damn well that it was going to screw others because they weren't willing to put the resources behind finding a comprehensive solution that would work for everyone... Which was the reason for Deej's shitty tweet about how we "may no like what we get". And we ate it up. Everything on these forums has become political, it's always one-side against the other on every issue. While factionalism is a common human trait, that often leads to negativity, Bungie does nothing to mitigate it, and quite the opposite, eggs it on. It also has a lot to do with the forum dynamics, often to get people to listen to your ideas, you must be aware of the pulse of the community... I am not above this, but in the end, the divisiveness only creates a grey area for Bungie to half heartedly support this game, while we squabble amongst ourselves. Sorry for the long post, I hope you've made it to the end.
