Will you buy the NES Classic after the holidays?
My local Best Buy had only 33 NES Classics arrive today and the line started last night. No NES Classic for my family this Christmas. I have a feeling my interest will after the holidays and I'll probably never buy it. After December 25th, there's no more hype, I've already over-spent on presents, and there is no more time off for me and my family. Nintendo is blowing a huge opportunity.

No I won't, I think it's absolutle bullshit Nintendo, the king of artificial scaricity, decided to limit the availability of this product. They do this with the switch and I won't be buying one of those either.

19 отв.I was lucky, in that the Walmart I work at got a shipment literally the minute I got off work. I kinda felt bad for buying it, because there are undoubtedly plenty of people more hyped than I, but then again on the other hand, I'm glad it didn't fall into the hands of someone who resells it for way more money than it's worth. I was actually debating on selling it on Ebay for a really low price (like $5-$10) as an act of good will, but in addition to the fact that I have no idea how to ship things, the people who would take it, and sell it again for $300 would completely ruin the gesture. : /

1 ответMy son REALLY wanted one for Christmas. I live in an area without a Best Buy and the only place that is getting the NES Classic is GameStop. They got 3 initially and 3 more are arriving Friday morning. My Office is just by GameStop, so I saw the people camping out today to get the damn thing on Friday. Ridiculous.

Don't really need one. I have an actual NES. I've got Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros 3, and The Legend of Zelda. I plan on expanding my library at some point, but there's so many new games coming out it's hard to find the money. I'd consider getting the Classic just to save some money, but there's something about having the cartridge that just makes it worth it lol.

I have Kodi installed + Retropie so can watch movies + emulate pretty much any console while using a 360/PS3 controller. Rather than 30 games I'm currently up to 65 NES games & 2 SNES games. I'll get more once I'm finished moving and have my PC connected. I DID plan on getting one, but after their artificial shortage I figured **** it & made my own.

2 отв.If you have a 3ds or Wii (Wii U) you can get most of those games on those devices. I still have my old NES so no need for me to buy one.

3 отв.I still have the original system plus a snes. I don't see the point in it myself when you could just grab a PC and throw a emulator on it but that's me.
