Less than half will make launch titles and if the console isn't selling insanely fast there won't be any more after that. The xbox one and playstation 4 are significantly better options because so many people already own them.

It ofvourse does kind of the same thing, but its utility is different, if they give it a competitive price I can see it doing very well. Ofcourse you are right, if the adaption rate is not high enough 3rd party developers will leave again, thats why the price is important. But it is not made to go head to head with the other 2, they would lose that war anyway so why not make a new market, and that is what they did.

They're double dipping on consoles and handhelds. It's to late for them to "win" this console generation and they already own the handheld market with the 3DS and nintendo games coming to iphones. I don't see any business sense at all in this decision.
