Custom Matches could really, really use this. Just a big flat open area with a very definitive line dividing two sides of a court. I was thinking about it while watching a dodgeball custom match video where they had to try and pick a map that roughly gave them enough space. And I figured this would be just incredibly easy to facilitate. Or even just a small assortment of basic maps for this type of recreational custom mode shenanigans. As people experiment with what can be done, adding to this list would be simple. But a court of sorts seems to be the most obvious necessity for irrefutably even competitive mini modes like dodgeball, tag and so forth. Outfitting them with unique Heavy/Special Ammo Crates would be convenient as well. The key here would be to make sure they're not included in the actual Crucible Playlists. I could see this being a juicy addition to a future April Update, or sooner if Bungie has the grit. Anybody else have ideas for what kind of custom maps/terrain we could use? I'm speaking strictly basic ideas. Anything that players could put to practical use that the current maps don't already supply. Imagine if we had two tankers side-by-side for some pirate cannon fights using Legendary Rockets with low velocity, or if they could simply enable SRL maps and modes with combat vehicles enabled for a Mad Max experience. Those are the sorts of ideas I'm trying to tap into right now. Casual play is the ideal.
