Y'all know what I'm talking about.
You're in the heat of the battle and you need to pop a heavy, special, or even a 3oC and it takes 37 seconds just to show your inventory.
FIX IT!!!!!

19 отв.This is all around bad design on Bungie's part. Ammo synth are just about the only items you need to be able to get to quickly in the heat of battle (maybe 3oC as well). Not only do you have to go into your menu but their position moves around depending on other items you've picked up since whatever item you collected last moves to the bottom of your consumables list. So the process isn't as simple as just open the menu and pop it, it's open menu, find the damn thing, then pop it. Why Bungie has not reworked this so we can assign a consumable to one of the D-Pad buttons as a hot-key is beyond me. I can just imagine how that conversation went. Bungie Intern: "Sir, I have an idea which might help to improve the player experience." Bungie Developer: "Whoa! Improve the player experience!? That's dangerous thinking." Bungie Intern: "I know it's against policy sir, but it's been an overwhelming topic of discussion for the past two years." Bungie Developer: "OK, but tread lightly." Bungie Intern: "So, apparently players are being slaughtered in droves while attempting to refill their ammo in the heat of battle." Bungie Developer: "So, you're saying it's working as intended?" Bungie Intern: "Um... Well... Yes... But what if they didn't have to enter their menu during combat to refill ammo?" Bungie Developer: "I don't understand. If we don't force them into their menu during combat, how would they die unnecessarily?" Bungie Intern: "Well, they wouldn't sir." Bungie Developer: "You've lost me." Bungie Intern: "It turns out that having to navigate your menu during combat is a major inconvenience, and players are asking for an easier way to refill ammo during battle. After all this is a FPS, not a turn based RPG." Bungie Developer: "So what does the community propose we do about this so called "inconvenience"?" Bungie Intern: "Well sir, they've suggested we allow them to map a consumable item such as ammo synth to their D-Pad." Bungie Developer: "So with only 3 emote buttons how will they express themselves during battle through multiple different dance options? Listen kid, I appreciate the suggestion, but we know what our community wants, and that's the ability to dance during combat, not the ability to reload without dying. Why don't you leave this up to the professionals." Bungie Intern: " . . . "

1 ответOr just get rid of the stupid emotes and have a synth hot key instead. Problem solved.
-
If you think that's bad go to legacy. You'll shut up when trying to pop a synth then
-
Hmm try it on 360. Cancerous. One reason I upgraded.

1 ответshould just have a hotkey..

Изменено (Scumbag Code): 10/6/2016 8:08:04 AMThe menu time was so much faster on the One compared to the 360, until RoI dropped. Then it slowed. /:

I hate it.

5 отв.Do you have a SSD in your system. Just curious if that would help with this ?
-
And pooping a synth upon death should work also... but bungie doesn't believe in efficiency.
-
You should have seen it on last gen. Literally spent a full minute trying to pop a heavy synth during the final part of the Black Spindle mission and had to give up to actually do something useful. Was pretty much a given that you couldn't pop a synth during battle at all.

Signed... Should be pop up ghost hold ? On d-pad or button bang you use synth!

I love it rn. It's so much faster than ps3 for sure. If you're on last Gen really you shouldn't have a problem
