Looking forward to Rise of Iron reviews. Going to be watching closely to my facourite review channels and hope it's over 80% before I buy it.
Time start making these huge companies work for my money again....Destinys gotten away with murder since 2014 thanks to pre-orders
Good luck Bungie!

15 отв.-doesn't want to sheep mentality by pre ordering right away- -depends on reviews to have an opinion- ok.
-
2 отв.Bungie is anxiously biting their nails and pacing, hoping that they hit that 80% mark so Kingpinx purchases a copy. The whole world takes a deep breath, watching you to see what you do.
naw just kidding, they really couldn't possibly care less, and neither can anyone here
-
I'm sure they're very concerned
-
I broke down and bought it I feel I needed to see it through to d2, I've hung in this long, might as well finish it out. I will tell you this though, if there are no dedicated servers for d2 they can suck it, I won't buy it. no way
-
Bump if you care.
-
While I do pay attention to reviews for new/unknown games, I've been playing destiny for two years, I like it, I'll buy it.
-
1 ответOkay. What you get out of posting this on a forum full of people who enjoy the game so much, they post online about it I don't get. But, you do you. By all means, it's your money.
-
Cool story. Pretty sure nobody really cares.
-
Let's see!!! $30 for something that will give me entertainment for a shit ton of hours !!! Ya I'm all in.
-
Respect that. I wouldn't just listen to the reviews, I'd watch game play footage too. I pre-ordered, this is the only game I really invest a lot of time in nowadays so they'd have to royally screw up for me to hold off. Hope you like what you see and hear.
-
I'm waiting on reviews also. Not by a particular person but I'd rather see what happens and just what goes on after the honeymoon phase. I'm sure there will be plenty of videos up by the time I get out of class. Idk why these guys are tripping so hard for though, nothing wrong with having a little patience and theres nothing wrong with seeing what else to expect through the eyes of a regular player. Kinda funny now that I think about it, people gave me shit for spending the extra 5 to get blacksmith at launch but now they're throwing 30 at the screen before it's loaded. Then defending their choice by saying it's no one else's decision just theirs.
-
Why would you listen to someone else's experience. I would rather try it out myself
-
Since when did the stipulation that >80% = bad? The school grade average is 70% first off, and even then, technically, anything past 50% would be above average. Sure, a 65% may not be innovative, but it still might be a great game. Destiny originally got a 67-73 if i remember. Look how far it came.
-
Nose, you spite my face, I will cut you off.
-
Yeah can't wait for rotten tomatoes review. Lol
-
2 отв.I judge games by trying them out for myself... no one else's opinion really matters.
-
I pre-ordered, but I don't see anything wrong with seeing how other people like it before making a decision. Maybe watch some actual gameplay
-
8 отв.No critic can tell me whether or not I'll enjoy something.
-
1 ответSo with your logic I take it you only play games that your told are good ? Imo that's a crap way to game
-
1 ответI actually pre-ordered ROI. Thats the first thing I've pre-ordered in this franchise. Its kept me entertained this long, IMHO they've earned my trust. To those who dont enjoy it who may be thinking of rushing to lambast me for what I just said - horses for courses. I dont pay much attention at all to pre release hype, and what I do watch, I maintain a certain level of detachment. I then judge the finished product on its own merits. And this one? I enjoy it. And if you dont, thats fine too. Just leave me to my enjoyment please.

I'm an adult and capable of making my own decisions. Only children should rely on others to make their choices.

1 ответTo all the "think for yourself" posts, I'm not the one buying into the hype and pre-ordering. If up LOVE Destiny to the point of defending it against any criticism, then why do you buy DLC that adds or enhances the game? With your logic, it will always be just fine as it is so why buy any more DLC? You're content and happy with the game. Logic + Fanboy = Salt extract
-
Kingpin, bump me and I'll personally report what I think back to you. If you're up for it, what exactly are you looking for the most? Story, cutscenes, the raid? Hit me back and I'll let you know.
-
The way I see it, if you have everything else already, just get the DLC. It's the last one, and it'll hold you over until Destiny 2. I'm not buying D2 day one after how this game went, but I'll at least have the full game to play in the mean time.
-
I think its funny that 95% reviewed roi on xbox store 5/5 stars, and they haven't even played it yet.
-
I can understand where you're coming from. Personally I want to continue my journey, rise of iron is the next step that I take. To each their own.
