Double tapping and res sniping should both have been removed. I'm not sure why you'd think otherwise.

I respectively disagree with you statement.

@LoganX @ShaderZ2 Really? Double tapping is something that snipers should do? I'd agree with you if these were slow, bolt-action snipers, or if they had enough recoil to keep you from just pulling the trigger twice, but they're not. With the range, rate of fire, and accuracy that snipers have you should either have to use them as a precision weapon OR land enough shots to the body that cost in ammo is prohibitively expensive. Compare it to using a shotgun. They're meant to be hard-hitting weapons in EXTREMELY close range. Outside of this range their damage drops off almost immediately, to the point that it'll take numerous shots to get a kill. Snipers aren't limited to a range like shotguns are, and they aren't even limited by rate of fire as severely as shotguns are. The only thing left to hold them back is their reliance on precision damage, but right now even that isn't there. As for res sniping, it's a ridiculous "feature" enabled by the poorly-designed resurrection animation and needs to be fixed. Bungie themselves knew that revives should be protected. That's why we players gain an overshield for reviving and being revived. If you can successfully pull off the entire action of reviving then you deserve that revive. Yes, it's a thing that's in Trials, but it shouldn't be. Death is already a hindrance. If you want to stop somebody from reviving their teammate you should have to actually STOP them, not just sit their doing nothing and waiting for another free kill. Sniping is already such a high reward for such a low risk that it shouldn't have the added benefit of OHK-ing somebody through the

Don't agree with you at all. Double tapping is something a sniper should be able to do. Res sniping is tactical. However, only top impact rifles should be able to do it. Similar to taking down supers but maybe slightly lower tier.

Res sniping is a major part of trials. If you died you died, and it will be hard to come back.
