Destiny: The Hive. The golden age is over. The traveller dormant, humanity nothing more than a shadow of its former self. The darkness has come. You and a crew of astronauts and scientists escape from the abandoned cosmodrome and the fallen army through one of the few remaining spacecraft. You plan to journey to Mars, one of Humanity's few standing homes, but your hyperdrive malfunctions right before you leave, getting you to a random location. Your ship is even more damaged due to the damaged drive. You crash land on an unknown planet, half your crew killed when you hit the surface. A jungle like area, but everything looks dead. The planet is barren. Cold. Eternally dark, but somehow still warm enough to live. 4 of you remain. 2 salvage and scavenge the ship, 1 searches the area, the other sets up camp and creates a fire to warm you further. Everyone regroups except the one sent to scout the place. You hear a painful scream a minute later. You decide to go looking for him. The 3 survivors gather the few weapons they had, and go in the direction of the scream, and come across your friend. Beheaded. With half a dozen Thralls eating the rest of the lifeless corpse before your eyes. One of you is enraged, and opens fire upon them. They see your group. And charge you. You are not a guardian. You don't have any powers. No rechargeable grenades. No ghost to keep you alive. All you have is an energy gun, and 2 others to help you survive. Stay hidden. Keep out of sight.
