Button mashers...
Why mash the respawn button when there's a team mate right on top of your ghost? You do realize WE BOTH get an over shield right? Those of you guilty of this, do you not know what "faster revive" or "bonus super from revive" means? Can someone please explain the logic behind your psychotic "OMG I NEED TO RESPAWN NOW!!!" Button smashing rampage? Because clearly I'm incapable of comprehending.
Played a salvage match where one of my teammates literally respawned as the bar was at the end. Resulting in me getting killed multiple times. It's getting old, and I'm about to start saying "-blam!- the team" my survival takes priority over your stupidity. If you do it ONCE, I'm not gonna bother for the rest of the match. It's that simple.
Edit: Don't get me wrong, I can understand if you don't see the team mate, I've done that before. But that usually happens if I get there right as your timer runs out. I'm talking about literally sitting there waitin for you.

I occasionally do this by accident. Happens a lot more if I've switched to the 3rd players point of view and then reflexively hit the respawn button before furiously trying to un-press the respawn button.

Been trained not to wait. Playing with randoms there have been plenty of times when I have waited to be revived only to see my teammate just go running by to his death. I've been playing more 3v3 modes lately and been trying to break the habit, but it's hard.

It's a reaction, quick mash that button, spawn in ASAP. I do it half the time without realising somebody is there waiting to revive me. Though I have to make a conscious decision to remember not to mash the button xD

Well one its match making but u can take friends. Two, you might be taking to long and they think they can help. Three not every one cares about the revive. Four it's possible to have had bad experiences with teamates not reviving so they only watch the timer and not you

lol it's annoying to me but not for the same reason. Your team gets points for reviving. We've all won and lost matches by a revive. It matters.

It's just habit because I play mainly 6v6 which has no reviving.

It bothers me too. If you're gonna get spawnkilled, it's understandable. But when there's no enemies hard scoping, it's just annoying.

Honestly, in my experience half the time people are assholes and don't pick you up, and if they don't pick you up right away then it's just time wasted on my part that I could have been back in the game.

2 отв.If someone is hard scoping my ghost, I respawn because it's guaranteed my teammate is too stupid to notice it. Also I've had way too many times where my teammate is right next to me and not reviving me. So I just save us both the hassle.

1 ответOnce had a salvage match that came down to the wire, I think we needed 50 points to win a revive would have net us those points but the fool rushed the respawn and cost us the match

Man I always feel hella stupid if I respawn. I try not to do it on my own unless there's no one around.

Due to mild lag the dead player doesn't see that someone is reviving them until after they have already pressed the button(this has happened to me numerous times). In other cases, they revive themselves in order to more easily reach a different location instead of being revived where they died(for example, they can respawn themselves and attack the enemy from behind while they are focused on hitting the rest of the team)

It also grants points! Only situation I could see is if you're for sure going to get res-sniped... But even then, a little communication and your teammate should be able to take them out or get them out of position before the res. I couldn't agree more! Very frustrating!

This post was directed at people who realize what they're doing when it's clearly unnecessary. -Some situations call for a manual revive if things aren't in your teammates favor, judgement is also a part of it. If it'll hurt more than it'll help, don't. -I'm just going to mute anyone who replies with "Don't tell me how to play my game". Firstly, I wasn't telling anyone how to play, nor can I make them. If you don't wanna be a team player, that's YOUR problem, not mine. It will also make anyone on your team not want to play with you, also YOUR problem. I'm letting you know now that you'll be wasting your time saying that, I'm not gonna waste mine replying. Your time is not my concern either... If you wanna waste yours, be my guest! Not being a team player doesn't make me rage, it's just a game. It IS annoying though. If I see the behavior as a problem, I'm simply not gonna try to get you up, or I'll just straight leave the match and find more competent people to play with. That's the beauty of it, I literally don't have to deal with these people and won't if I don't want to! Crazy how that works, huh? :)

Perhaps we see the person hardscoping our ghost when the would-be reviver doesn't. But hey, I stopped playing 3v3 when rez-sniping became the only way to succeed.
