I know the feeling. I can't believe I got it at full retail price. I did play the multiplayer for awhile though, but even that felt pretty boring shortly after. Idk, you probably need a diff game. I also like making my own chatacter as well, but I myself don't know of any games out right now that have all the stuff you'd want in it. I'd probably be playing it too.
I happened to read your replies to others and noticed you played as an archer. Which I did as well at first. VERY BORING class. Try the more up close melee classes or classes with cool abilities and skills if you're going to give it another go. It won't transform the game into super crisp gameplay, but it definitely makes a huge difference from standing back with an archer. At the very least, try that.

Yeah, I have. I started a playthrough last night. I chose a sword and shield class, and even though it still isn't necessarily really fun for me, it makes it bearable enough to be able to push through it and get on with the story.

I think when I played, I used a bigass sword without a shield, and had some rushing attack with spin attacks and some other stuff. It was pretty cool but, it felt bland pretty fast. I think it's because I roamed around and did sidequests though. Which all the side quests felt boring. The very beginning of the game wasn't too bad though, killing the first boss, but I explored too much where it felt like there was nothing of major interest. If I ever do try it again, I'm probably gonna skips almost all the side quests.
