This has to be the best presented Dragon Age man. It's worth a playthrough. It won GOTY for 2014. It adds so much to the series. It has so much more content than DA: Origins. Hell, The Emerald Graves exploration map is as big as the original -blam!-ing Dragon Age: Origins GAME itself! there are so many side quests it's insane. If you've played the others you'd know that the combat is probably the best unless you liked the style of Dragon Age 2's combat more. It's open world unlike the other Dragon Age games. It has much more depth and lore. There's a crafting system unlike the others. It has the most dialogue, it has the best dragon fights, it has the best loot, it has the best graphics. IT has so much. The most amount of content and replayability to any Dragon Age. If you've played the others then you'd LOVE the multiple tips of the hat to the previous games within this one. PLUS the amount of DLC expansions is also the most of any dragon age.
This game has so much content in it, it's practically overflowing. This is worth every penny if you even remotely like Dragon Age. It's -blam!-ing awesome. PLEASE play this. You're doing yourself wrong if you deprive yourself of this -blam!-ing awesome game
Hell, The Emerald Graves exploration map is as big as the original -blam!-ing Dragon Age: Origins GAME itself!
Oh dear god the Emerald Graves (thought it was Glades?)... I was in that map for so many play sessions I forgot that there were other maps to do or even...Skyhold?

Well I haven't played any of the other ones, soooooo yeah. But I've gotten a few hours into my playthrough now, and with the class I chose, the combat is at least bearable now. Not exciting, but just enough for me to keep pushing through to experience the story.

The combat has always been the worst part of Dragon Age. Try to make it more interesting yourself. Bring your best companions and constantly switch to them as you fight bigger things and -blam!- around with their abilities instead of your standard ones
