Once I reach the point where I'll periodically pass out for just a moment, my mind goes a little crazy. I start to confuse reality with virtual. I begin to perceive and rationalize everything as if I were in a video game. People are instead characters or NPCs. Things I need to do are quests or objectives. Places are instead areas or levels. If I think about doing something like closing a door, I imagine it's done by pressing a button. Conversations are recalled as set dialogue options. If I want to turn off the light, I sit there trying to remember how to get to the Brightness settings. If something's been aggravating me, I think about how the difficulty is too high. Obviously thinking about it now, I understand it doesn't make any sense. However, at the time, it all makes sense to me. When it's going on, though, I'll get very confused as to why I can't find the menu or why I'm lying in a bed. Also, I'll have a difficult time keeping my eyes focused on whatever I'm looking at properly, and that will really confuse me as well. cx
