1) What is your opinion of balance? Explain your reasoning.
2) Why do you overreact to every nerf like it's y2k?
3) Prove that PvP "destroys" PvE content.
Try to be civil with your arguments, as no one cares about your E-peen.

53 отв.First off, you can't ask for civil arguments while calling the detractors mingebags and stating they "overreact to every nerf like it's y2k." So, screw you.
1) What is your opinion of balance? Explain your reasoning.
PvP and PvE being separated so you all can have your PvP douche-topia and PvE players can feel powerful.
2) Why do you overreact to every nerf like it's y2k?
Because PvP nerfs are spilling into unrelated content and making an enjoyable game less enjoyable. It's okay with you because these nerfs are "benefiting" your gamemode of choice. Guess what? PvE players don't want your bullshit nerfs in their gamemode. You're wearing blinders and that makes you a selfish asshole.
3) Prove that PvP "destroys" PvE content.
Fusion rifles have been shit since early nerfs. Shotguns are no longer powerful in PvE because of PvP, range, ammo, damage, and perks have all been modified because of PvP bitches. Pulse rifles have been on a rollercoaster since Vanilla. ARs went from powerful to shit to somewhat usable again. Your bullshit nerfs are causing PvE content to be artificially more difficult because PvP crucibabies suck at life. Also, prove PvP nerfs HAVEN'T destroyed PvE content.

6 отв.I'll be civil. Because it absolutely has affected our side of the game. Not only do I run out of sniper ammo quicker now, but did you know in year 1 snipers could hold 6 in the chamber? A couple of more with the right perks? Not anymore. Other things now gone that really helped game play: range finder, field scout, shot package. Gone. Shotguns now require you to be right up close. Why is this a problem? Because so many ADS have crushing area of effect attacks when you get too close (bosses and cabal). Btw: field scout. Still a perk on many weapons that doesn't activate. It sits there on my machine gun and rocket launcher mocking me. Mida, a relatively mild weapon was crunched. Specifically for pvp. Stagger also worked on ads. You'd almost spin them around, giving yourself an advantage. Fusion rifles. These used to be the main secondary for a lot of folks. You'd strip a shield in one shot and then use your primary to finish the ad. Now? Multiple shots later a shield may be down. Suros. She as a beaut. You did real damage and health regen kicked off halfway through the mag. Poof. Gone. Finally get a decent auto rifle in DoP and wham-o, damage fall off that is noticeable. I could go on (I'm a beta user and the list could be extensive) but I think you can see what bothers us primarily pve players. It's especially aggravating because we bought a game that was supposed to be primarily pve but has quickly become pvp focused. None of the promised pve events even occur. So yea. We feel screwed. You can dismiss these, but they're real.

Изменено (W+M1): 4/27/2016 3:41:20 PMBalance is when gun variation exists Y1 nerfs where worse but it's retarded because one month after getting used to something they nerf it making it useless and make us find new gear I'm now running out of special and primary ammo a lot in CoE with Monte Carlo, they ruined one of like 2 good kings fall weapons, how am I uploaded to become legend if my guns can't even kills anything

14 отв.It's simply that after several nerfs the time to kill as gotten considerably slower. It's just come to point where buffing guns is harder but it's more beneficial. I feel they should have buffed other guns are Mida pre nerf and then every gun would have been very consistent and very viable.
-
20 отв.1) Opinion on balance would be that certain guns are better than others in certain situations. That all weapon classes in PvP only have the same time to kill. I mean that in the sense that all hand cannons have same TTK and etc etc. 2) Over reaction to a Nerf that is intended for one games aspect yet effects both is justified so therefore isn't an "over" reaction. Why do people react and call for nerfs? Some things I understand, but a lot of the nerfs were unnecessary. 3) Shotguns have lost a lot of range and power because of nerfs. Special weapons have lost ammo capacity for no reason. Ice breaker nerfed. They also buff and Nerf things according to its usage and the part of the community who cry hard enough. For everything, PvP and PvE. Which is ridiculous. Why should a gun/weapon class be nerfed in PvE because it's strong in PvP? Where is the reasoning behind it?

6 отв.Just in general. People are still bitching about mida, its pathetic at this point. They ruined the exotic perk thanks to sad people, i used the -blam!- out of it in pve and pvp. Now i use the hawksaw. Stop crying about the mida please, its one of the best pve weapons, and if people still complain about it they're probably gonna -blam!- with it even more.

I dont think a lot off things need to get nerfed, but there is a select few... Like solar grenades. A lot of things honestly need to get buffed back to what they originally were to even everything out.. Especially hunter supers... It literally gives you like 15 seconds to get all 3 shots off but Titans get like 40 seconds and they have basically unlimited... And storm caller seems to never freaking end and the range on their lightning is rediculous.... I shouldn't be able to get melted from 50 feet witching 2 seconds of getting zapped..

1 ответDon't forget: Vex mythoclast, one of the hardest Guns to get in year one....reduced to garbage because of PvP. Thorn, a difficult gun to get especially if you don't care much for PvP....reduced to garbage because of PvP. Shotguns were buffed in HoW and they were awesome, it was so much fun playing with them.....then PvPers cried so many salty tears that they were reduced back to garbage and then some. And who can forget....the sunbreaker....no need to say more.
-
4 отв.1) My opinion of balance is the point where every style has a counter (red death vs thorn) so that a single weapon or class meta doesn't get out of hand. 2) I haven't, except to thank those who called for fusion rifle nerfs 3) PvP definitely affects PvE: Sniper ammo Hand cannons Sunbreaker Fusion rifles Etc PS: for those who bitch about supposed community-caused nerfs and then bitch that bungie doesn't listen, shut the -blam!- up you ignorant bastards
-
5 отв.The nerfs are because of crybabies crying. Crybabies are -blam!-ing gay. Crybabies cry cause they get wrecked in crucible.....then shit gets nerfed. When shit gets nerfed the game gets less fun.

1 ответWell for your PvE question: I wasn't against the special am nerf. But since it has happened. I am always running out of ammo for special. And if I miss a shot that's even worse. The drop rate is shit. As much as I would like to say it drops at a good rate to keep me firing, it just doesn't. I ran out of primary, special and heavy!! And guess what, for two rounds of CoE no ammo dropped at all for special or heavy. So I was forced to use ammo synths. To keep playing. And just to say. With 300+ rounds in my scout rifle and 100+kills you would think that the enemy would drop some kind of special ammo. This is just one example of PvP whimpering that screwed with PvE gameplay. Not to mention the damage and range nerfs that are often asked for.

1 ответIt doesn't destroy pve content. Just makes it less and less fun every single time.

1 ответИзменено (Soupreem): 4/27/2016 1:01:04 AM1.) wether nerfing or buffing is the better thing to to is up to the problem at hand. Don't go too much to either side. (I'm only summoned to nerf posts wanting balanced things nerfed) 2.) We overreact because the nerf will harm PvE and/or will destroy what was nerfed. Anybody remember that timespan where auto rifles were basically removed from the game? 3.) The ammo nerf, machine guns are limited to, for the most part, 2 mags without an ammo upgrade of some sort. Special ammo is now even more inconsistent with another net to capacity.

2 отв.Изменено (Slain): 4/26/2016 2:45:27 PMI think balance is important, but it has to centered. You can't balance too far up or too far down. Ideally, you'd maintain the certain level of quality and fun when you balance, but bungie tends to whittle down, depreciating the value of gear over time, and in turn making the game a lot less fun. I tend to get heated about nerfs because they are a slippery slope; you know they're gonna sour the game in some way. While some nerfs will always be necessary, most of destiny's nerfs didn't achieve balance, and did more harm than good, such is the case with most of their "balancing". They have a working philosophy about pve and pvp changes being the same, yet they base most of their decisions off of pvp. -sniper ammo -machine gun ammo -grenades and horseshoes -revive time + keeper of the pack nerf -pulse rifle nerf -pulse rifle nerf -auto rifle nerf -fusion rifle nerf -nerf of almost every decent exotic -nerf of almost every good perk These changes were all geared at pvp, but had unnecessary effects in pve. While these changes are small and don't contribute much on their own, they add up to a lot. Pve has suffered a lot due to pvp "balance".

5 отв.Изменено (phteven7678): 4/26/2016 4:39:41 PMDo you even play PVE? Last night I ran out of ALL my ammo several times. All of it. Even had all my armor and gun perks set for max capacity. For a while every damn alien I killed refused to drop any ammo. I was also wearing my ruin wings. Happened in Court of oryx and POE. Tell me that's not broken. Tell me the ammo nerf the crucibitches cried for didn't affect that. I'm all for balance in PVP because every child need a participation medal. Even when they suck. How about this for balance: When you use the director and choose a strike, story or patrol you are giving maximum in ammo for al weapons. Kind of like your ship has an armoury on it. When you select any of the PVP modes you get each weapon mag filled but have zero additional rounds carried. That way when everyone runs out they can use melee and supers. Which means the Titan will be at a huge disadvantage because of the classes nerfing Titans to Hell. Then when no supers are charged and your waiting for a grenade or melee to recharge you can use an emote because THATS what seems to be important in a FPS. Or have "incoming primary/secondary/heavy" at various time. I'm good with either. I don't loose my mind over nerfs. I can't fathom for the life of me, why with a community this large, there isn't more thought of how to buff weapons rather then nerf.

15 отв.
1) What is your opinion of balance? Explain your reasoning.
Each weapon and ability has its own advantages and shortcomings in relation to others, but no weapon is too strong for its group and no group is dominant in strength. I.E. Autos are built for close range. A balanced Auto has an extremely low TTK at close range that starts to quickly decline at longer ranges.
2) Why do you overreact to every nerf like it's y2k?
Because I, for one, am sick and tired of whiny children who refuse to change their tactics complaining that things are too "OP" in an area they're meant for (see: people saying Scouts are too good at long range or saying Heavy Machine Guns fire too fast), and I would like them to stop ruining my favourite weapons and preventing me from having fun simply because they don't know how to be smart on the battlefield.
3) Prove that PvP "destroys" PvE content.
Warpriest went from one or two rounds to three or even four My group has to use primaries for Sisters I can only carry about 3-4 magazines of ammo with any sniper, meaning I have to leave my perch and expose myself to fire just so I have ammo My fusion doesn't even OHK a normal enemy, much less a Majour or Ultra I have to use a fusion at shotgun range to get a OHK most of the time My Storm Fist doesn't consistently kill, even on low armour foes Rocket Launchers are just plain useless It's easier to stick yourself than your target with some grenades Black Spindle, an exotic, is still outdone by most legendaries, even just in terms of ammo capacity My chain gun only carries about 2 or 3 magazines My Striker frequently loses melee fights to standard-level Centurions My Defender's bubble only holds up to about 5 rounds from either of the Minds during Nightfall I've had to use all 3 GG rounds on a single Majour and still not killed them My Zhalo is the most feast or famine weapon ever in terms of kills My Juju doesn't excel at any range, much less its intended range The list could keep going but I don't feel like typing it out

3 отв.Изменено (Thurs): 4/26/2016 4:58:56 PMSpecial ammo reserves have a big impact on pve. The extra special drops have come at the expense of primary. I run out of ammo all the time now. Grenade nerfs mess with pve. How do you think making guns harder to kill with WONT HAVE A BIG IMPACT ON PVE? Thats ignorant. PvP is in a good place right now but PvE has been hurt because of it. A blanket boost to a player in PvE would be great. There has to be a way for both to work.
