Bans are ignored by moderators and the system is broken. I’ll let you in on a story, I was banned for trying to rick roll people in #Destiny. I posted a link to rick roll back in the crota days before it was soloed and said it had been, then linked the prank. I was banned within an hour. Let me list my problems with this. • I didn’t know why I was banned. I had to go through my past posts one by one to find it. • I didn’t know how long I was banned for. • I didn’t know who banned me • I didn’t know what rule this broke • I didn’t get advice on how to ignore this • You can’t even SEE half the notification on mobile. These are easy to fix, fundamental problems! Who wants to use a site that bans you on a whim, has biased mods, and doesn’t tell you what for! I’ve been banned for 1: Saying “fgt” (which multiple people have done before and not gotten banned for) 2: Rick roll 3: A thread that listed the problems with #destiny 4: Saying “-blam!-” and bypassing your terrible censor system with an italic. 5: Literally nothing 6: I couldn’t find this one Do you not see the problems with this system? “Oh you have no rights here” isn’t a excuse. “Oh you’re just a salty kid who got banned” isn’t an excuse. Saying that this system isn’t screwed because YOU say so isn’t a excuse. "Deal with it" just means that you know its broken, but you're too lazy to fix it. Bnet’s system is broken and it’s talked about behind your backs. How to fix it: 1: Add a system to tell people why they were banned 2: Tell them how long their ban will last 3: Make the ban message be, oh I don’t know, not CUT OFF on mobile? How hard could this be? Really? The fact that there’s no appeal system is fine. Who wants to deal with a ten year old posting porn spamming the appeal section? Too much effort. But these problems are what makes bnet a bad site. I wouldn’t be surprised if this thread got banned, I really wouldn’t. But I’m quitting the site in about 24 hours, so this is my final stand.
