You are so Ignorant it hurts... There are and were already race mechanics in the game... Ever play patrol?
This is just another pathetic attempt to "give the rat a cookie". Once sparrow races drop we will realize how crappy designed they are, and subsequently stop playing them.. then bungie will be back to nerfing everything to the dirt and tinkering their economy into the dirt
