Should throwing knife instant kill if to the head?
I deleted the body so I will do it again... Facepalm.
Ok so who thinks that throwing knife should be a full 200 damage if it is a headshot. I know with gamblers dagger and knife juggler it would be quite op, but what's the difference between snipers! But like cmon it a [b][i][u]FREAKING KNIFE[/u][/i][/b]
[Edit1]: For the people who are saying "It's a helmet what's a knife gonna do". Let's just say it's a really sharp knife.

Knife is solid in good hands. It needs no buffs. It's a skillful tool and should reward skillful players. Skilled players know when to use it, instead of just throwing it around and hoping it hits.

No, not imo. Just lead or follow with a single body shot, not hard at all.

exotic gauntlets that you can charge the throwing knife and make it a ohk

Gloves that give you the ability to hold L1 to charge your throwing knife, increasing distance/damage.

Tis a question of physics as well as what this game does the worst. RNG. If said knife is thrown and hits blade first, it will kill, if it hilts, it will stun, or just leave a mark. It's always about the randomness with Bungie, isn't it.

Yes, when you can one shot with scotch, energy drain, blink strike, smoke, storm fist, thunder strike, and disintegrate. It already ford enough bonus damage it doesn't need more

Theyre super easy to land, and have insane hit detection, and have a perk where kills via thrown knifes to the head refund said knife. So NO.

Agreed, even if it's just incendiary headshots that are OHK's but if titans had shoulder charge that OHK and has range/ sunbreaker melee with insane burns and possibly extended burn times and warlocks have melee's that reach ten feet and grant buffs/ recharge incredibly quick. It's a bummer when I have to wait an entire minute to have any chance in beating a whorelock or Titan in a melee fight. For the time being I'll remain a master of the throwing knife that doesn't track ^_^ and keep shooting first and finishing them with my knife to their skulls.
