Imagine you are a new TTK player. You recently reached level 30. You were curious about VOG so you watched some videos and went in to try for yourself... It took a while, but think to yourself that it was some great content. You even received an exotic reward: the Vex. It's so cool! But why does it have such poor stats? You do more research and find that it used to be great, but it was left behind... For no reason. You realized that you thought you would get 3 raids, but there is really only one because the content from the others is obsolete. The 10 year experience is not continuous, and the expanding world of Destiny is actually shrinking. You are very disappointed. You post this on the forum. I expect to start seeing these posts here in a few weeks.
This needs to be fixed... I'll go so far to say that it will be fixed... Still waiting for Bungie to wake up.[/quote]
Edit: all of these arguments about burn primaries are relevant but easy to fix. Simply DO THE SAME THING AS KINGS FALL! Remove elemental primaries from the old raids! That simple! Make a new difficulty on the old raids and don't drop elemental primaries!
Edit: this is about EXOTICS i personally wont miss the legendaries but classic raids should get new difficulties with rebalanced drops

An expansion is supposed to expand a game, not make most of it obsolete

To little to late

2 отв.Bungie will sell you all your year 1 weapons back later this year.
-
Bump, that would bring a lot more content to this hollow shell of a game.

8 отв.Blame all the people that put up 1000 of Nerf that gun post blame them not bungie

3 отв.Изменено (vanilla): 11/12/2015 10:53:47 PMYear 1 exotics are slowly going to come back, as they should, as for legendary weapons, just move on lol. This is year 2, you wouldn't reuse all your paper you took notes on your first year of high school for the next year, you get new paper.

13 отв.This is a huge problem with mmo's. I forget the proper name they have for it, but basically there are 2 sides to this fight. The one that your on were all guns should be able to be brought to the new lvl. And the other which is the past should stay the past. Well honestly bungie handled this perfectly. You see the problem with this is that, your right it's not fair for new players to destiny to not be able to use the old exotics. But it's also not fair to old players; for old players we need new reasons to play the game, new guns, armor, activities, ect. Being able to level any year one weapon would basically break the game. And you would see people just use the same 3 guns (fatebringer, black hammer, and gally) forever...... for the next ten years of this game.... does that sound fun at all? Variety is what brings old players back. With that said bringing a select few guns, some popular and some not so popular, back from year one with a new paint job and new upgrades allows to cover both fields. It allows people to use some exotics from year 1 in year 2. But also realize they said that this trend will continue they said that year 3 will see revamps of year 1 guns and year 2. So don't worry you'll be able to use them at some point.

4 отв.How bout -blam!- no don't remove elemental primaries from old raids. You insane?

That would be nice I do love my MIDA

6 отв.Hey, Luke. If you brought back Year 1 gear maybe I'd rotate my primary weapons more often. That's why you didn't add more elemental primaries, right? To get us to use different primary weapons? Right? Asshole.
-
Your post is all over the place. But year one exotics are coming they are just getting a change to them to make them better. Some need better visuals/sounds, effects/uses. You have to keep in mind that if people gave you everything at once you would cry about stuff you didn't get since the beginning.

1 ответIf I had year 1 weapons, I would never use year 2 weapons. They pampered us with the best perks in year 1.
-
Too late now. People already dismantled theirs for vault space, and would flip.
-
This. Too bad I already deleted a bunch of year one legendary weapons that I loved due to the Great Weapon Parts Depression of 2015.

2 отв.It's not gonna happen, let it go. As much as I want it to, and as much as it should, it won't. Most primaries have elements and perks that won't be allowed in Y2. Not gonna happen.

2 отв.Amen brother. 1600+ hours. Where they lost me? I'll tell you. Running hard mode, I get 300 leg drop. FŪCK off. (2) I grind my balls off to get my sword. Go to gunsmith and then wait for armsday. And like a infomercial "but wait there's more". Go grind some more... 12 hours to get a sword. (3) VOG and Crota gear is completely fućking useless. (4) INFUSING. Holy fúCK biscuits. Fire that moron and project manager that approved that!!! Why grind away? There is no reason to, everything will be useless again in no time. Then more grinding. To grind some more and more. And all the aforementioned horseshit mentioned by all the fellow day one players that have come to the same conclusion. DESTINY IS NOTHING MORE THAN A HAMSTER WHEEL!!! GET OFF THE WHEEL GERBIL... You'll be happier when you do. Fool me once, shame on Bungie. Fool me 2x shame on me. Cryptarch told me decoding destiny 2 will just be another rare item, no good to infuse into anything I have.

They won't ever do this because some of year 1 primaries had elemental burn on them. They already said no other primary weapons with have elemental damage to them. So what did they do? Well they did bring over year 1 favs (mostly) to ttk just reskinned and renamed Forgive me as I don't know all the names: Fatebringer- imogen loop Tread upon stars - voc Oversold edict- the pulse you get from omnigul Fusion from crota- dark blade fusion

4 отв.Old content need to stay old. Move forward with new

Couldn't agree more. I'm a year one player and the way I see it bungie is taking away content that I spent my hard earned money on. This is a shady business practice and is unheard of in any other industry. When I first bought into destiny I was under the impression that we would have endless customization. HoW was very close to what I originally expected with customization. If ppl want to make the argument about doing away with the old weapon for balance I won't argue there but as far as armor goes... Here we are in year 2 still with only 6 options to choose from as far as customizing our look where we could have nearly 30 different options. How can I be legend if I'm just like everyone else. I'm still hoarding all of my year one armor with the false hope that bungie will fix this even though I have lost all faith in bungie to fix anything that matters, much less fix anything at all. Each fix seems to be another step in the wrong direction and I for one a pretty -blam!-ing salty about it all. $140 and only $40 of that is actually useable smh.

Atleast let us infuse yr1 exotics.

8 отв.I don't want it literally just because of party crasher, felwinter's, or matador. That's it
